Jake's POV
I was upset that Aubrey moved back to the dorm after knowing too well she would be in danger if she leaves the mansion. I couldn't stop thinking of how openly she is to danger and how far she is from my reach. After thinking for too long, an idea popped into my head and I put a call through to the family's realtor.
I had him buy or rent an apartment just few blocks away from her dormitory because I didn't want to come out suspicious, It'd be best to stay like few blocks away but enough to know that she is within my reach.
The realtor called to inform me that the paperworks would be signed the next day then I could move in anytime I want.
After I was done talking to the realtor, I ached to call her but my egoist side went against it, my mind fought against my heart.
