The look on Annie's face gave me much satisfaction. I was glad that she was pleased with what I had done. She smiled at first glance of the hall and I felt a surge of contentment warm inside of me.
"Let me go take a piss, I will be back"
"Can I come with you?" I bent to whisper into her ear.
She shook her head and smiled. Annie was smart. She knew what I wanted to do.
With a mischievous smile, I saw her stand to her feet, excuse herself from the high table, and then disappear into the crowd.
"Your mate is beautiful" Someone murmured to me.
I smiled, "Thank you" before turning back to trace where she was but could not see her.
'Don't you think we should follow her? She's pregnant' my wolf whispered to me.
