“You've got to come with me!"
It was like a dog being dragged away from Claire. School students rarely pass through the warehouse at the back of the school, where she was taken.
She asked breathlessly, "Why did you bring me here?".
I want you to take the mango for me as a punishment because you lost my ring."
The mouth on Claire 's face was wide open and her eyes bulging.
Claire didn't want to climb such a tall mango tree. " Olivia! Are you crazy?" Claire couldn't get over how tall the trees were. In addition, she's a girl and was wearing a skirt. How would she look from below if the boys saw her?
In Claire's mind, Olivia seems to regard Claire as a best friend. She responds by saying, "I don't care, it's your fault that you lost my ring, and mine is craving mangoes. Hurry up and get it.".
"Oh, I'll buy mangoes for you. I'll replace your lost ring too because my dad's rich. Hahahaha"
Olivia got even pissed off when Claire burst out laughing.
"Because I'm your best friend, I've prepared a ladder for you," Olivia said as she grabbed the ladder.
Since Claire had already found a ladder nearby, she didn't have to climb the mango tree.
Claire gave in because she couldn't refuse her best friend's wish. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll get it for your mama."
Claire said to Olivia, "Watch out for the teachers! You've got to make sure no teachers pass through here.".
I don't have to worry, what's the teacher going to do in the backyard of the school anyway? Are they planning to steal mangoes too?"
Laughter erupted from Olivia.
Claire deserved this punishment for what she said. The ring that Olivia's favorite was lost by Claire, even though she said she would get a ring that was exactly like Olivia's missing ring, it's been a month and she still hadn't found a replacement.
A ladder at a time, Claire carefully climbed it. To be honest, she was really scared of heights. In fear of anyone catching her stealing the mango, she watched her surroundings. Claire was holding on to the ladder under the tree while Olivia held the ladder for her.
"Does one mango suffice?" Claire asked.
“There's only one mango, but my mom wants twenty!"
“Are you okay with me cutting down the whole tree instead of cutting twenty mangoes?"
As Claire complained, Olivia chuckled. After Claire got twelve mangoes, she was happy. Considering it was mango season, there were a lot of mangos on one tree.
"Does that cover it, Olivia?"
Olivia picked up the mangoes Claire dropped and replied, "Enough.".
Olivia asks, "Can you come down now?".
She said, "If I couldn't come down the ladder, I wouldn't have climbed it in the first place."
Putting her right leg down, Claire started to squat. The ladder trip down was a lot more challenging than the one up. When Olivia was picking up the mangoes, Claire felt the ladder sway since Olivia wasn't holding it.
The kids weren't paying attention to the angry eyes of the disciplinary teacher walking toward them because they were too busy playing. Olivia and Claire were presumptuous enough to steal mangoes from the school, and the teacher looked at them with a sharp gaze.
"You guys stole the mangoes at school, how dare you!"
When Claire heard the teacher's voice, she slipped and fell.
BRUKK!
"CLAIREEE!"
Because she was shocked when she heard the killer teacher yell, Claire slipped and fell. It didn't take long for Olivia to help Claire up.
……
"Ugh..."
Claire's mouth opened up and she moaned, lying limply on the gurney. While holding her dizzy head, she tried to open her eyes. Her eyes finally opened up to reveal a small room with two gurneys, a wooden cabinet with medicines, and a little sofa. When she got to the infirmary, she tried to remember why she was there.
"Oh my gosh! Olivia has got me passed out..."
Yes, Claire just remembered that she had fallen down the ladder as she was surprised that the teacher had yelleded and caught her. There was something weird about Claire's infirmary since it didn't look like this. It was a girl wearing a purple headband and pink eyeshadow who suddenly opened the door in the middle of her confusion.
"Is everything alright with you, Claire? No lumps in your head?"
The girl's appearance just made her even more confused. Claire just kept quiet because she was still confused.
She didn't recognize this strangely dressed girl at all, so why did she recognize her?
'I'm guessing she's a school nurse. Maybe she knows me from Olivia.' Claire thought.
"How's Olivia? I'm fine."
Seeing Claire's behavior, the girl was confused. "Olivia? Olivia who?" she asked.
"It's Olivia, my best friend."
"The only best friend you've ever had is me."
She gaped. 'What?' Since when is this weirdo her bestie?
That made Claire's friend annoyed when she asked, "What's your name?".
This is weird, “Claire, I'm Celine, Celine Garcia," Celine said while rolling her eyes.
"What's wrong with you Claire?" Celine continued to ask. "Are you amnesic because you got hit by a ball while watching football?"
"Why is there a ball? Didn't I fall from a mango tree?"
Celine shouted, "Mango trees? Since when have we had mango trees here?Marcel kicked the ball and you were hit!"
The names sounded familiar for a moment to Claire since she'd heard them before. The pain in her head made her try to remember what it was.
"Celine…? Mar–MARCEL?!"
"You're right, Marcel. Marcel Adelard."
There was a widening of her eyes. Marcel Adelard? She read every day a romance comic with that name as the main character.
Would it be possible she's in the comic now?
To make sure, Claire asked, "What's my name?"
"I'm sure you're joking, Claire Eliz. Can't you remember your own name?"
Claire went limp all of a sudden. Even though she read comics all the time, she couldn't believe this was happening.
Celine looked at her frantically. "Are you amnesiac?" she asked.
It was time for Claire to snap out of her daydream and chuckle. In this situation, she didn't know what to do.
She laughed. "Hahaha, I can't be amnesiac just because I got hit by a ball. If I jump from a new building, I'll definitely be amnesiac."
As she pulled Claire's body out of the grave, Celine laughed out loud, "Bahahaha. Not only will you be amnesic, but you would already be there.".y.
"Ugh, still feeling sick..."
Celine laughed and said,"Haha, good luck.".
It's KRINGG!
Break time was over when the bell rang.
"What do you think about going back to class or staying in the infirmary?"
Claire answered, "I'm staying here since my head's still dizzy.".
"Okay, I'll let Mrs. Alya know later."
CLICK!
There was a closed door on the infirmary, indicating that Celine had left. Despite Claire's confusion, she didn't understand how she was able to transmigrate into the comic she loved. How would she get out if she couldn't? How would she feel if mom and dad were looking for her? What would Mrs. Tia do if she was worried?
Claire couldn't make sense of this situation, so she started asking herself questions. Added to that, she turned into a beautiful antagonist. As it turned out, Claire Eliz was a gorgeous antagonist in the comic that Claire Farron was now becoming.
Claire Eliz was originally a very kind girl, according to the comic she read. It wasn't long before Clover Marceline arrived in her class and she turned bad. She ended up liking Marcel, the guy Claire liked. The head of the school's Fanster football club, Marcel, was a cool guy and Claire liked him.
She said Clover had a well-toned body and was very beautiful. Clover's look was almost perfect. It didn't matter, Clover liked him too. She turned bad because of this.
Claire yelled frantically and wanted to cry. "Wait... If I'm here, does that mean in the real world I'm dead?" she asked. It was hard for her to get out of this comic world.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaa! I don't want to die!”
