"Here's your bag." Celine handed it to Claire.
Claire was happy to get it. Did Grace ever carry Claire's bag in real life? In the past, she had to take her bag home alone after school if she was sick like this.
After school ended, Celine wanted to take Claire home. Most of the students went home, so the school was quieter as well. However, some students were still at school just hanging out or participating in extracurriculars.
Claire smiled and said "thanks."
"I'm confused. What did you just say?"
Celine's tone emphasized her thanks. "THANKS." Claire replied.
"Tell me again?"
Claire said annoyingly, "Are you deaf? I said THANK YOU!"
"It's just I wasn't expecting you to say thank you. You always act like I'm your maid."
A sigh escaped Claire's lips. Knowing Claire Eliz, she knew how she treated everyone. She was always rude, never friendly, and always acted the way she wanted. It was only Celine who wanted to be her friend. Besides, who wants to be friends with someone like Claire Eliz?
In a bad tone, Celine said, "I saw your brother going home, including Marcel.".
According to the comic Claire Eliz read, she was the last of two people. There was only one year between her and her brother, Nicho.
"So what?"
"He looked like he was with Clover, then I noticed Marcel was with her."
"Oh."
In the infirmary, Claire walked out with Celine behind her, answering casually.
"Just oh?! Don't you seem mad?"
"My feelings for Marcel faded after he kicked the ball and hit my head. Now I think he doesn't care about me anymore. Why am I angry? It's up to them." Celine was very surprised at Claire's lengthy explanation in the infirmary. "He wasn't worried at all," Claire said.
"How'd you get so smart, Bel? I thought you were fine."
Her best friend finally opened her eyes, and Celine was very happy about it. Because of Clover's presence, Marcel and Claire's brother looked down on Celine.
"It's time for me to be better. I'm tired of being negative."
Before Clover came, Claire and Marcel were very close, so it wasn't a mistake if Claire liked Marcel in the comic. As the precursor of the football club was a close friend of Marcel and his brother, the members of the football club treated her well before she came. These five friends included Marcel, Nicho, Frans, Greg, and Algaz.
Celine sighed, feeling touched as she hugged Claire. "Good grief, my best friend finally learned something." she said.
A part of Claire was also fed up with Claire's attitude in the comic because she was so stupid with love. Hopefully, she'll be able to change Claire's attitude in the comic so she doesn't get labeled as an antagonist.
Claire asked curiously, "Was it you who took me to the infirmary?"
"Hmm, I thought it was Marcel. You were walking alone after I left to go to the cafeteria."
Her eyes widened in shock. "MARCEL?" she asked.
...........
It was still hard for Claire to believe what she saw. Claire was so amazed at the gate's height and how majestic it looked.
'If the gate were just this high, how would it look from inside?' Claire asked in surprise.
'Are you sure this is my house?' Claire thought to herself before asking Celine. Celine would tease her again about her amnesia.
Claire and her chauffeur were escorted back to Claire's own house by Celine. She couldn't go home alone, how could she? In this comic world, Claire had no idea where to go.
"It's not good to daydream all the time, Miss."
"Eh, yeah," Claire woke up from her daydream when security told her it was time to come in.
"Are you sure this is my house, sir?"
Security laughed at his employer's behavior, "You're kidding, right Miss?".
"I'll be honest, Sir, she's kinda off after getting hit by the ball on her head, buahahahah!" she said, mocking Claire.
Now Claire was standing right in the middle of her house's entrance. There was still something awe-inspiring about the luxury.
Claire said quietly, "This house looks more luxurious than what I saw in the comic."
I thought it looked like the house of a conglomerate. It was completely gold, with so many crystal chandeliers hanging. There was nobody home, so she entered a wide, quiet room. According to Claire Eliz, her parents come home late at night and are really busy. In fact, there were times when they didn't even go home. In addition, Nicho always had a lot going on at his football club. It made Claire wonder why her brother was allowed to stay there at night. Are his legs going to fall off from playing soccer? That was impossible, right?
"Hello Miss, what would you like me to cook for you?"
It was Mrs. Tya's greeting that snapped her out of her daydreaming. YES! She was Claire Eliz's faithful maid, who always greeted her when she came home from school and prepared food for her.
When Claire got home from school, her mom would make her lunch in the dining room. Yeah, her mom always made food for Claire before she left for work. Her family wasn't rich, but they lived well and were very harmonious.
"Don't worry, Ma'am, I'm not hungry. Just tired, I just want to rest."
A nod from Mrs. Tya confirmed her response.
Celine led Claire towards her room, because if she didn't lead the way, Claire might get lost in this big house if she didn't have Celine. She had a pink door with her name on it, and her room was on the second floor.
She asked spontaneously, "Is this my room?"
Mocking Celine while she rolled her eyes, "This is my cat's room."
"What's up with you today?"
"If I act weird like this, they'll definitely get suspicious," Claire said to herself. 'Claire, why can't you shut up?'
As soon as she walked into the room, she saw a queen size bed and a dressing table piled high with skincare, makeup, and tools. She found her clothing room to the right of her bed, and the toilet to the left of her front door.
Mirrored, she looked at herself.
"It looks like Claire in the comic has a great body, I have a great body, hahaha."
Claire's strange behavior was just a result of the ball hitting her head earlier. Celine just shakes her head.
"The cat hasn't eaten lunch yet, so I want to go home." Said Celine.
"Honestly, I'm not a baby. I can take care of myself. By the way, your cat is so cocky because it has to lunch too, hahaha."
"I don't care," replied Celine as she walked out of Claire's room.
There was a quiet atmosphere in the room when Celine got home. A deep thought was going through Claire's mind. Even though it felt like a dream, how could she enter the world of a comic she read so often? Could it be because she liked the comic so much?
"How do I get out of here? What should I do? Sigh, I want to cry... How do I get out of here?"
She missed her family back home and worried about them. Did her parents cry when they saw her die? Is she missing, or is she being hunted because she disappeared? The comic world was making her want to go home, but she couldn't.
"I'm not staying here forever! I'm getting out of here!"
