Zayd woke after only four hours of sleep. He sat up and leaned down, gently pressing his lips to Lilyan's temple as she slept. He smiled softly to himself, looking down at her lovingly. After a moment, he sighed. He had to go relieve Kahn. He could tell from his thoughts that the night had been uneventful so far. Kahn had not seen Jadiel.
