Xale just explained how both Ricon and Asher lost their daughters. Ricon met a woman he believed was a werewolf, had one night with her, and then left. The woman became pregnant, but Ricon knew nothing of the child until he bumped into the mother when the child was four.
Ricon wanted access to his daughter, which the mother granted. Ricon never told the woman who or what he was. The future King of Dragons should never announce to anyone who he is for security reasons. Ricon decided to rent a house in the town his daughter lived to be closer to her. His child stayed with him every weekend, and he returned to Blue Fire during the week.
