It’s peaceful in this place. It reminds me of back home, with trees and wildlife as far as the eye can see. Starr would love it here. That was the first thing I thought when I arrived. When we die, I hope we end up here. What an afterlife that would be.
Mom told me this was her special place in the Celestial Realm. She brought me here and told me never to leave because if I was found, bad things would happen.
I told Mom about the garden of Starr’s dreams. Starr once asked me if we could carve out some land back home and plant a holly bush around the wildflowers that grow there. She said it would look beautiful around Christmastime. The next thing I knew, Mom waved her hand, and that very garden appeared before my eyes, and I knew Starr was right. Goddess, it was magical.
