Chapter 2: Her Worries

Oliver reached for her hand, but Janette swiftly avoided his touch and position herself in fighting stance. She gave him a cold stare.

“I don’t want any trouble sir so let me go or I’ll sue you for kidnapping and harassment,” Janette said with calmness and a deep cold tone. Oliver chuckled because of Janette’s treatment of him. He noticed that Janette didn’t even sway in his hot body. He thought if Janette is like other women who after his body maybe she will offer herself to him, however in his entire life Janette is the only one who gives him an indifferent treatment.

“My captain, I can’t let you go. You are the perpetrator here captain. You are the one who stole something precious to me,” he said.

Janette was confuse because she never stole anything in her entire life. She gave him a puzzle look because she didn’t understand what she stole from him.

“I never stole anything from you, nor know about your identity,” she responded in calmness.

Oliver was amused in her reaction. He also forgot to introduce himself to her. Using his speed he swiftly reached for her and locked her in his arms. Janette didn’t expect his next action. With all his strength, he throw her in the bed. Janette almost panic and she was about to roll to get out from the bed but Oliver jump on top of her. She was shocked.

“Janette,” he called her name, and his deep manly voice send shiver on Jeanette's spine.

“You stole Oliver Weston’s heart, the strongest mafia in this country. Didn’t you know that was a serious big crime? So take responsible for stealing something from me,” he said and he claimed her lips.

Janette was a bit drunk from the effects of the scented candle. She felt her body was flaming because of foreign sensation she felt for the first time.

She couldn't understand the pleasure she received from Oliver's kisses. Not able to control her body's desire, Oliver's tongue gained access inside of her mouth.

Janette thought she will go crazy from his kisses. However when Oliver started to roamed his hand on her body. Her instinct for survival and her pride as a soldier took over her.

With her might, she gained her all strength and kicked his balls. Which made Oliver lost conscious from the pain inflicted in his balls.

Janette panicked when she saw Oliver lost his conscious. She didn't meant to killed him. She immediately scan his pulse and felt relief when his pulse is normal.

She took the keys from his pants, and she escape with haste. Luckily, she successfully escaped. Janette took a cab and told the driver her destination. She decided to go back to the camp as soon as possible.

"Excuse me Sir, can you speed up a little? I'm in a hurry," Janette asked politely.

The effects of the aphrodisiac scented candle still linger in her body. The pleasant sensation from Oliver's kisses were planted on her system.

It was her first kiss. She couldn't believe that a kiss from a stranger was able to stirred her principles on dating.

She wanted to give her first kiss to her first boyfriend but right now, she couldn't anymore.

"We are here Sir," the driver said. She gave him the fee, and went out from the inside.

She felt relief when nobody is around at this time. Janette went to the building next to the hospital building that was only exclusive for the people who work inside of the camp. Then she looked for Dr. Calvin Cycle, the doctor she is close with.

Calvin Cycle was in his bed sleeping soundly when the sound of the hard knocked from his door made him wake.

"GRRR. Who's this heartless person knocking hardly at three o'clock in the morning?" He grumbling as he walked towards the door.

After he opened the door, he saw Janette in her uniform. Without his consent, she entered in his room.

"Unbelievable, I know I'm handsome but you don't have to do this, Captain Janette," Calvin said, and he closed the door.

Janette glared at him.

"Stop joking Calvin. I need your treatment. I was drug with aphrodisiac," Janette said with pain.

Calvin was shocked when he heard it. "Let's go to the hospital then," he said. "Wait," he said.

He rushed to his cabinet full of medicine. When he found what he looked for, he grab a glass of water and he gave it to Janette.

"Take this. This might help you to calm," he said.

Janette grabbed the medicine from Calvin's hand and drank a glass of water.

"How you feel?" Calvin asked. Janette just shook her head because she still feel the pain and hot sensation in her body.

"The medicine effects will takes a while. Let's go to the hospital right now, so we can examine and treat you properly," he said. Janette just nodded, and she walked to hospital. Calvin just followed him after wearing his doctor lab gown.

As soon as they arrived at the hospital room, Dr. Calvin examine her. He asked what happened. Janette only told him that she accidentally inhaled an aphrodisiac scented candle. After Calvin took the examination of her condition, he find the results. Then he grabbed the medicine for Janette's condition.

"Take this, this will cure your condition," he said.

"Thank you," she expressed her gratitude.

"Just rest for two days. I'll help you right a leave form so you can take care of your condition. The drug you inhaled are too strong. It's a miracle that you have strength to went back here. I'm glad you did, and was able to treat you," he said with worries.

"Yeah, I'll follow your advice," Janette replied in relief.

After their conversation, Calvin notified a nurse to assign on Captain Janette to take care of her for two days. Then Calvin went back to his room to sleep back. Janette also went to sleep.

As the sun rise, Keith who's worried for his captain who didn't went back yesterday received a notification from Dr. Calvin.

As soon as he heard the news that Janette was staying in their hospital, he rushed there. When he arrived in front of Janette's room, he was about to open the door when the door open itself, and a nurse came out from inside.

"Good morning, Vice Captain Keith, Currently, Captain Janette is sleeping so I advice you Sir to wait in your office," the Nurse said.

"How is she?" Keith asked in worries.

"She's totally fine, she just sleep here yesterday," the nurse asked.

While inside the room, Janette heard them. She instructed the nurse not to tell others about her condition so they won't worry about her. After a while, the nurse went back inside.

"Captain, Vice Captain Keith went back to his office," the nurse reported.

"Alright, thanks for the report. Can you help me take me back at my home? I prefer to stay there than here," Janette asked for favor from the nurse. The nursed just smile.

"No worries, Captain. I'll help you anytime," she said.

Janette notified Dr. Calvin that she will going home, and she will take the nurse with her. She can't help but worry because the person she knocked yesterday is the infamous Mafia boss.

As soon as they arrived in her house, she felt that someone was watching her. Her heart began to go wild inside of her chest because of anxious. She thinks that those eyes might something to do with Oliver.

Janette tried to calm herself. She knows that even Oliver is the enemy of their mafia family, he won't easily locate her home.

She went to her bed and closed her eyes. However, the things she saw right now are the scenes happened yesterday. Her chest tightened.
