Prologue

286 Words
Dear Mister R, I love you. Not as a friend, not as a guardian, not as my protector, but someone I truly love. Although we just met a few months ago, I'm certain that I've fallen for you. I know that you loved me back, but I also know that something inside of you is telling yourself that you don't love me, that you never did. You were denying the love you've developed for me. Writing this letter was stupid, but the only way I can express what I truly feel was through this letter. I am currently questioning myself about what was the reason why I fell for you. Maybe because of those ocean-blue eyes of yours that allures me. Your light brown hair that I adored. That soft and luscious lips. That mean-looking but a handsome face that everyone can fall in love with. That personality of yours that was meant for me to see and acknowledge. No matter what the reason is, I'm sure about one thing. I'd fallen for you. The sweet and thoughtful version of you. Even if there's another side of you outside this castle, I surely know that I've fallen in love with the real you. Although you hide almost everything from me, you still manage to capture my heart every time I see you. You're the first person who can make my heart beat faster than usual. The first person that can make me feel butterflies in my stomach. The first person who could make me blush in crimson red.. The first person I truly loved, and hopefully the last one. But the purpose of this letter was to let you go. Goodbye, my beloved. Sincerely, Astrid Falin.
