The night was dark and quiet when Razor pulled up to the meeting point. An old factory on the west side, abandoned for years. The windows were broken, and weeds grew through cracks in the pavement. Perfect place for what they were about to do.
Chen's van was already there. Razor parked his truck and got out. Tega was right behind him in another car, with Carlos and Dre. They all wore dark clothes and carried duffel bags full of weapons.
Chen stepped out of the van with ten of his men. They looked professional—calm, focused, ready. These weren't street punks. These were soldiers.
"Everyone's here," Chen said. "Let's go over this one more time."
They gathered in a circle. Razor pulled out a map and spread it on the hood of his truck.
"Three targets tonight," Razor said, pointing at marks on the map. "Team One hits the drug warehouse on Fifth Street. That's Chen's crew. Team Two—that's us—hits the gambling den in the warehouse district. Team Three takes the strip club Romano uses for money laundering."
"What about guards?" one of Chen's men asked.
"Each location has five to eight men. Maybe more at the warehouse. But Romano doesn't know we're coming, so they'll be relaxed." Razor looked at each person. "Hit fast, hit hard. Burn what you can't carry. We want Romano to know someone's coming for him."
"What about civilians?" Chen asked.
"The gambling den and strip club will have people inside. Get them out first. No innocent blood. We're not animals."
Chen nodded. "My men know the drill. In and out, fifteen minutes max."
"Good. We move in one hour. Synchronize watches." Razor checked his phone. "It's ten PM now. We strike at eleven. Questions?"
Nobody spoke.
"Alright. Let's gear up."
---
Razor checked his Glock one more time. Full magazine, one in the chamber. He had two spare mags on his belt and a knife strapped to his leg. Tega stood next to him, loading a shotgun. Carlos had an AR-15, and Dre carried a sniper rifle in a case.
"You ready for this?" Tega asked quietly.
"No," Razor said honestly. "But I'm doing it anyway."
"That's all that matters."
They drove to the warehouse district in silence. The streets were empty, just a few homeless people sleeping in doorways. The gambling den was in an old brick building with no windows and only one door. Two guards stood outside, smoking cigarettes.
Razor parked two blocks away. They got out and moved through the shadows, staying low. When they were close enough, Razor signaled. Carlos and Dre circled around to cover the back exit. Razor and Tega approached from the front.
The guards didn't see them until it was too late. Razor moved fast, slamming his gun into the first guard's temple. The man dropped without a sound. Tega grabbed the second guard in a chokehold, squeezing until the man went limp.
They dragged both bodies into the alley and zip-tied their hands.
"Clear," Razor whispered into his radio.
"Back door's clear too," Carlos replied.
Razor tested the front door. Locked. He pulled out a small crowbar and wedged it into the frame. One hard push, and the lock broke. They slipped inside.
The gambling den was exactly what Razor expected. Dirty room, card tables, slot machines that probably didn't work. About twenty people were inside—gamblers, dealers, and three more guards. Nobody noticed them at first.
Then someone looked up and saw Razor standing there with his gun.
"Everybody on the ground!" Razor shouted. "Now!"
Chaos erupted. People screamed and dove under tables. One of the guards reached for his weapon. Tega's shotgun roared, and the guard went down, clutching his leg.
"I said on the ground!" Razor aimed at the other two guards. They raised their hands and dropped to their knees.
Carlos and Dre came in through the back, covering the exits.
"Phone, wallets, weapons—everything on the floor," Tega ordered. "You do what we say, nobody else gets hurt."
People scrambled to obey. Razor moved through the room, kicking weapons away from the guards. He found the office in the back—a small room with a desk and a safe.
"Dre, watch them," Razor said. "Tega, with me."
In the office, Razor found stacks of cash on the desk. He stuffed it into a bag. The safe was locked, but Carlos brought in some C4 explosive from his pack.
"Stand back," Carlos said.
They cleared the office. Carlos placed the charge on the safe and set the timer. They ran back into the main room.
"Everybody out!" Razor yelled. "You've got thirty seconds to get out of this building!"
The gamblers didn't need to be told twice. They stampeded toward the exits. The guards tried to run too, but Tega stopped them.
"Not you three. You're staying."
"Please, man—" one guard started.
"Shut up. You work for Romano. He killed my friend's brother. So you're going to give him a message."
The explosion was small but loud. Smoke poured out of the office. Razor walked back in and found the safe blown open. Inside was more cash, ledgers, and cocaine. He took the cash and ledgers, left the drugs.
"Burn it," Razor said.
Carlos pulled out two gas cans and started splashing fuel everywhere—on the tables, the walls, the slot machines. The smell was strong, making Razor's eyes water.
They dragged the three guards outside and left them zip-tied in the alley.
"Tell Romano this is just the beginning," Razor said, looking down at them. "Tell him someone's coming for everything he has."
Tega tossed a lighter through the doorway. The building went up in flames, fire climbing the walls and reaching for the sky.
They got in their vehicles and drove away, leaving the burning building behind.
---
At the same time, across the city, Chen's team hit the drug warehouse.
Chen moved like a ghost through the shadows. His men spread out, covering every angle. The warehouse was huge, full of shipping containers and pallets. Romano stored his product here—cocaine, heroin, pills. Millions of dollars worth.
Eight guards patrolled the area. Chen's men took them down quietly, one by one. Suppressed gunshots, knives in the dark. Professional work.
Chen found the main stash in a locked container. His tech guy had the door open in two minutes. Inside were duffel bags full of white powder.
"Load it up," Chen ordered. "Take what we can carry, burn the rest."
His men worked fast. They loaded five bags into their van—enough to make a fortune. The rest, they soaked with gasoline.
One of Romano's guards woke up and saw what was happening. He reached for his radio.
Chen put a bullet through his hand. The guard screamed.
"Make the call," Chen said calmly. "Tell Romano his empire is falling apart."
The guard grabbed his radio with his good hand. "We're under attack! They're burning everything!"
Chen smiled and walked away. Behind him, flames consumed the warehouse, black smoke rising into the night sky.
---
The strip club was called Diamond Dreams. Fancy place, expensive drinks, beautiful women. Romano used it to clean his dirty money.
The team assigned to this target was led by one of Chen's best men, a guy named Tommy. Six men total. They walked in like regular customers, guns hidden under their jackets.
The bouncer at the door didn't suspect anything. "Twenty dollar cover charge."
Tommy paid and walked inside. Music pounded from huge speakers. Colored lights flashed across the stage where women danced. The place was packed—businessmen, tourists, locals.
Tommy spotted Romano's men immediately. Four of them, sitting at a table near the back. Watching everything.
Tommy's crew spread out through the club. When they were all in position, Tommy pulled the fire alarm.
Sirens blared. The music stopped. People looked around, confused.
"Fire! Everybody out!" Tommy shouted.
Panic. People pushed toward the exits. In the chaos, Tommy's men moved toward Romano's guards. One guard stood up, reaching for his gun.
Tommy shot him in the chest. The gunshot was barely heard over the screaming crowd.
The other three guards drew their weapons. Bullets flew. Two of Chen's men went down, but they took all of Romano's guards with them.
Tommy ran to the manager's office upstairs. The door was locked. He kicked it open and found a fat man in a suit trying to climb out the window.
"Get back here," Tommy grabbed him and threw him onto the desk. "Where's the money?"
"I don't know what you're talking about!"
Tommy put his gun to the man's head. "Wrong answer."
"Okay, okay! The safe! Behind the painting!"
Tommy found it. The safe was bigger than the one at the gambling den, probably held half a million or more. He didn't have time to crack it, so he called his tech guy up.
While they worked on the safe, Tommy could hear sirens in the distance. Police. They had maybe five minutes.
"Hurry up," Tommy said.
The safe clicked open. Inside was cash, jewelry, and documents. Tommy grabbed everything and stuffed it into bags.
"Building's clear!" one of his men called from downstairs.
Tommy looked at the manager. "Tell Romano he's next."
They ran out the back exit just as police cars pulled up to the front. In their van, they counted the take. Almost six hundred thousand in cash.
"Chen's going to be happy," someone said.
Tommy looked back at the strip club. Smoke was starting to pour from the windows where they'd set fires in the office. Another piece of Romano's empire, burning.

Razor's phone rang at midnight. It was Chen.
"All three hits successful," Chen said. "My warehouse team got five million in product. The strip club team got six hundred thousand in cash. Your team?"
"Gambling den is ashes. We got about two hundred thousand and his ledgers." Razor paused. "We lost anyone?"
"Two men at the strip club. Wounded, not dead. They'll live."
"Good." Razor felt the weight of it. Two men hurt because of his revenge. "Romano knows now. He'll be looking for who did this."
"Let him look. By the time he figures it out, we'll hit him again." Chen's voice was hard. "This is working, Razor. We hurt him bad tonight. His people are scared."
After hanging up, Razor sat in his apartment and watched the news. All three attacks were being reported. The reporter called it a coordinated assault on organized crime. Police had no suspects.
But Romano would know. He'd figure it out eventually.
Razor's phone buzzed with a text from an unknown number: "Impressive work tonight. Romano is furious. When you're ready for the next step, call me. - S"
Sofia. She was watching, waiting to see if he could really pull this off.
Razor deleted the message and lay down on his couch. He didn't feel good about what they'd done. Two men were hurt. Buildings were destroyed. But Romano had started this when he killed Danny.
And Razor was going to finish it.
Tomorrow, they'd plan the next attack. Romano would be expecting them now, which made everything more dangerous. But Razor didn't care. He'd made a promise to his brother.
Blood for blood.
War had come to Blackwater City, and it was only beginning.
