I felt a lot better when I woke up the next morning. The cuts around my body were healing, and the headache was finally gone. A warm cup of coffee made my morning perfect than ever. Everything was bought to my lap. The way Claire acted, surprised me, I didn’t know that exes could be so lovely. Or maybe I thought so. I was thankful that someone was around me while this all happened. I had no idea what I would do if I were alone at this time.
“I have to head to the city today, but I will be back in a few hours. There is a bit of food inside the fridge, but feel free to cook anything else.” Claire said as she walked inside my room.
