Chapter 45

919 Words
The auburn-haired woman returns into his room after rows of silence emerged. Panting heavily out of her lungs, She carries a ledger upon the chest for report of his current condition. It is Baron Schneider’s second day in the facility. No exact schedule to guide him on passing the first time in the psychiatric hospital beforehand. He has to settle on his own, learning over rules and conducts within the chamber by the cards plastered on the wall. “I forgot to tell you this, but I’m Charlotte Simmons. Nice to be acquainted with you, Baron Schneider.” She offers a hand to shake, but the young man rejects,”No, It’s awful. You’re awful.” He replied, placing a sneer into expression for essence of his thoughts. Against the former athlete’s retort, Charlotte withdraws herself back immediately. Her attention then reverted into the documents as the auburn-haired woman smiles in excitement,” It’s alright. I was a fool to do that against you the night before, Baron Schneider. You have all the freedom to hate me if you want.” She said. As if I care about your fake gesture, Charlotte. I’m not interested. The actual Baron Schneider might also couldn’t bear against it, too. I want to blurt a slang word so bad, but I suppose 2009’s era of internet would make them of no use regardless. Yeah, I don’t really know much about your s****l life, but you’re truly a Stacy for me. “So, what’s the fuss you want to chat about now, a hole?” He taunted. Both eyes glared deep into her green eyes under the breadth of his own misery. In contrary, the auburn-haired woman scratched her hair repeatedly to oppose the patient’s wrath. She yawns a little as the fatigue hits on her composure. It is no surprise for the woman after rigorous contest against the flow of insane athlete’s prominence on the corridor. “I’ll leave you be if you wanted it, Baron Schneider. This is the schedule for today’s healing session.” Charlotte dropped the document down to the table. She bent slightly, then winked towards the former athlete subsequently before departing away from his sight,” You can call me anytime by that phone. If our Gordon’s not running wild, I should be here after five minutes.” She muttered. ~bam~ She’s a hottie. In a scale of 1 to 10, my wood says eleven. Today’s Baron Schneider could never approach that type of woman. But, if I could interest her with something else, any woman would surrender against my feat. I have a silly thought, actually. What if I have to find a relationship for me to leave this body? In my own presumption, Baron Schneider never seek for a woman in the paramount level of his adventure. He was an entertainer and one famous person of Armea. Who would never wanted to have themselves pampered by these hunk hands of mine? If it is true, I could never be separated in this form. I could eventually transformed into an actual Baron Schneider forever. Scary to think of, especially since I have my own life to wander about. Okay, better start my day before it gets cold! --- “Hello, my Name’s Baron. How about you?” It is five o’clock at the evening. Baron Schneider has himself a contender under the basketball ring. A two and a half meters tall, the opposite side boasts a player with formidable stature under the black shirt he was wearing. “Name’s Tyrone. Keep yourself up, homie.” ~dang-dang~ Tyrone shots a three-pointer after dribbling the ball under his crotch a few times. Baron Schneider watches his attempt on the wheelchair, wishing it to miss the desirable points needed to win their mini-contest before dinner. ~sok~ It scores without hitting the rim, giving it a clean shot in favor of Tyrone’s side. “Hah, look at that, Baron. Can’t see those up in pro games.” He mocked a little bit, then shoves a knuckle towards the man’s shoulder afterwards,” Nah, I’m kidding bro. Welcome to Grada Mental Hospital’s basketball community.” He muttered. “Yeah, nice to see your games, too, Tyrone.” Most mentally-ill attendees will spend their recreation period to get some sleep after moderate intakes of exercise. From eight to ten in the morning, their instructors will start the day with lightly-programmed workout to relax their stiff muscles. Hip-hop style musics were arranged as a background for the rythm of the body and mind coordination. Regardless of any physical capabilities, nobody was being casted out from the team due to five-men’s leader at the front. No requirements in whatsoever form, only willingness to concur and devotion to get better. When the afternoon comes, all of them will be directed into the movie watching area. The hospital staffs has selected several drama-type shows without flickering lights on every scene to prevent photosensitivity epilepsy of certain patients they treated. In this session, all patients are unified into one. They have an utmost freedom to cry or laugh at the respective video in the cinema. And for the final session, they will gather around in a small focus group discussion to tell about themselves and their trouble. Nobody is discriminated or ridiculed in this particular meeting. It is a moment of healing for them to share misfortunes and activities done in that day. Of course, they are welcomed to share no story if they are uncomfortable with it.
