Chapter 16

Suspicious. A lightning strike as an emblem, huh. One of a kind for simply natural occurrence to put me under repetitive time-travel sequence. Did they summon me into their universe on purpose? I have never read about Armea or Naulus back in the school. None of them even exists in the border of the five continent at all. Baron’s knowledge informs me of their presence on the center of Pacific Ocean. The sixth large island to be considered another continent, and it was established way back before life beckoned on earth. I figured that it’s another fine-tuned probabilities of our soil terrain’s expansive tendencies. The Pacific Ocean has covered 32 percent of the total regions of the world. An uninhabited sea water regulates such areas for millennia, why wouldn’t a new continent arise at the center? United States of America favors Naulus. In the opposite end, Armea is heavily supported by the European Union. If Naulus has summoned me from my actual universe, why would I be here and possessed nobody in the enemy’s group? So strange. I will save them for my future research. Baron counted the bombs in His backpack in immediate fashion. Their captain wants to charge upon the heart of the main battle-tank formation across the verge of Armea’s territory. “One, two, three- I’ve carried 5 sticky napalms only. Need to refuel after that.” He stated, then placing them away into the bag afterwards,”I can’t assure myself to attach them up correctly as meant to be, and it’s quite dangerous, so....” The Lieutenant shook his head in response,“Do you forget, Baron? Thanks to the strike, you’ve acquired a new talent. Short-term memory loss, right, Tony?” “No, you can’t get memory loss that easy, unless for a trauma that hits blunt into your head.” The medical soldier goes silenced, then nodded in confirmation shortly after,”Yes, He could be. It’s mild presumptions, however, I-“ Carlo shoves a palm up front,“Quit it. You’re making my head goes dementia just by listening to your jokes, Tony.” He said in advance as the man loaded up the machine gun upon its stand. After that, Carlo puts the removable laser sights on its mount before putting a test into its optic for once. ”Now, for our little Baron. How’s the best method to glue the bomb, captain?” Carlo winked towards the former athlete as He placed an index finger into the trigger. Could that man actually read my mind? I hope an explanation to that, actually. Since Baron’s mind have no idea over that, as well, one or two little hints would do to remind me of things. The Lieutenant was seemingly agreed to Carlo’s suggestion. He draws four squares on the dirt with wooden stick that was lying idle on the ground,” See, this is our beloved boom-boxes. That sticky napalm would detonate after you press the trigger. Yes, that’s right, it is all about your reflexes and agility to avoid any foot soldier in the area, just like that little feet against Dreamers in the cups final.” He explained thoroughly, sometimes by pressing a few times on the front side of the ‘tank’ to stress out things,”You understand?” If that means I have to be recklessly running into the woods, I’m not sure... The Lieutenant smirks as the face of his subordinates turned dry,”You’re truly absent of the invisible cloak, aren’t you? Use that to mask your position. Be wary, because they could still listen to your steps if you’re not attentive to the sounds it make.” Baron seeks around the chest by probing into it closely. There are a lot of rough surface upon the vest that resembles a button in one way or another. Right-handed person usually will be favored a lot more in its exterior design. So, the young infiltrator tried the left-side for starters. “It’s located on-“ Against The Lieutenant’s support, Baron shook his head in advance,”No, captain. I want to find this myself.” He replied. Near the bottom right corner of the chest, Baron finds three distinctive round-shaped indents. Each of them colored in different tone than the other. Green for the left-most one, middle with blue, and red to the last member of the club. In my presumption, invisibility function will be associated more with green or blue. Red-colored button will serve as the one for disaster-occurrence scenario. The color green looks identical to energy preservation. Blue should be correlated more into power boost, which is invisibility cloak in that regard. “It’s blue, isn’t it?” ~tap~ The athlete’s uniform suddenly expands and goes fortified upon the torso and its bottom. A pair of exhaust protrude at the back for unknown functions to the man. His helmet grows a glass visor with scope mark before the left eye and sets off full-face at the same time. For the firearms, it shrunk into the frame of his armor, only displays a part of its barrel near the left palm. Carlo could no longer hold his own laughter. The machine-gun warrior rolls down on the ground, amused towards Baron’s new level of stupidity and burst in utmost glee,”Ha-ha-ha-ha! He’s a skunk, that brain’s as dead as a fart.” He chuckled. “You’re pressing the wrong button, Baron. You could combine that brute with invisibiilty, but it’s gonna be messy.” The lieutenant faces the front side of Baron’s suit and pressed the red button with ease after one click to the blue,”Green for melee weapon, a.k.a. sword and stuff. Red for invisibility, and blue for too-much strength.” “Watch out for the blue one, okay? It could bust a nut in seconds.”
