Chapter Twenty-three- Engagement
Oswald left for the men’s room after he had waited for the Hubery and he wasn’t coming. When he returned, they had arrived and it was Tess and her mother along with the Hubery. He wondered why they all had come together as he was expecting to be still in the hospital. Hubery had invited him out and he thought that he wanted to discuss business. But looking at how, they all had come together, he knew he was in to listen to something he wouldn’t want to hear. Oswald was thinking about several reasons the family would call for him but he couldn’t come into a conclusion.
