Chapter Nine CASTEL SANT’ANGELO was a small orange-brown castle-like structure dominated by a thick cylindrical tower in the middle. A statue of an angel, wings out, peaked over the top of the tower. Even from a distance, the tower and the blip of the angel at the top stood out from the rest of the landscape, drawing attention to itself like a beacon. The sniper waited by the road at the side of the castle, identifiable because of the giant case next to him. Other than that, he was a little more muscular than the average, but otherwise not really remarkable. Brown hair, tan skin, plain face. Maybe on the tall side, but not by much.
