Chapter Ten THE NEXT DAY, I WENT into the lab to collect my crew of non-detectives and head back to the fields. So much had happened that it was easy to forget we’d meant to question the agricultural workers, before being waylaid by the House of Anna and a magical tidal wave. But that lead was still dangling, and now we had more reason than ever to follow it. Luca was already gone by the time I came in.
