Few minutes later she fired back by asking her about her relationship.
"Mmm......" she acted like she was thinking of what to say, "There's this guy, his name is Boyd. Boyd Wolfe actually; he is my brother's friend and....., we started dating in college. "
" Awwn....., your brother must have been very protective of you then. "
Olivia smiled like a teenager who is thinking about her crush.
" And...... "
" What do you mean by 'and ... '?"
" Like what happened after you guys started dating? "
" Okay......, we're engaged! " Olivia screams waving her hand that has her engagement ring on it in front of Alex.
" OMG! Wow, I'm so happy for you dear. "
" Thanks. Now that we are friends, I will arrange a meeting so you can get to meet him. "
" Really? "
Olivia nods with a smile
" But, you know that's not necessary right? I can meet him some other time. "
"No. I'm arranging a meeting, you're going to meet him and that's it. "
Alex sighs in defeat, " .....Okay"
" Who knows, you may also meet your soulmate there. " Olivia winks at her and she blushed.
Before they realized, it was past midnight and Alex was yawning. it's seems she is not used to staying up late.
She helped her clear out the table because she knew it would allow her extra minutes with her before she goes to bed..... and to think of ways to punish Boyd.
*****Few minutes later*****
Alex wished Olivia goodnight and closed the door to her apartment . She was damn tired, but happy . She feels like she bonded with Olivia and she found out few things about her.
She noticed that they forgot the wine glasses on the table and took them to the kitchen. She wanted to wash them, but she was tired so she decided to keep them in the sink . ' I'll wash them in the morning '
Alex got ready for bed but before sleeping off, she remembered few things that happened earlier......
' Olivia is very lucky to find love at this age. I just hope I find mine too..... like she said '
