FALLING INTO FOREVER

I heard a knock at my door, opening I found no one just a package on the floor, didn't know packages were delivered inside the school, should I carry it I thought, what if it's a bomb or something else

I carried it up but left my door open a bit, just a precaution suddenly my phone started ringing starling me for a bit

' Hey, how are you doing '

' Good, did you get the package ' he asked

' oh this is from you'

' ya, get dress by 8 I'm picking you' he said, well more like commanded

' Get dressed May' he deadpanned, what's with the attitude

' No, I have something else I need to do by that time ' I said too

' I'll pick you up by 8 be ready ' he said then cut the call, WTF who the f**k does he think he is

Time passed quickly almost as though, it was waiting for 8 pm, every hour that passed felt like I was fee hours away from death

" May what do you think" Ash asked, breaking me from. my chains of thought, we're having lunch dinner or Luncdin as she like to put it, it doesn't make sense one bit, she looked at my plate " you've barely touched your food"

" Trouble in paradise" Enola said " Gosh how many months has it been and you guys are having troubles"

" Enola, shut up if you have nothing to say" Ash said

" No she's kinda right" I spoke up, maybe Ash would know what I should do

"Told ya, don't worry hon, I've been there" she said picking up her fries and stuffing in her mouth " So tell me what's the problem, does he want what you can't give" she said winking

" What, it's possible, we all know Leonardo, well you guys do, he looks like someone with great needs if you know what i mean" she laughed

" Gosh this girl" Ash facepalmed

" Well, he sent me a dress and said I should get dressed for 8, like no asking or anything just deadpanned, I told him I have something doing he still repeated what he said, it doesn't make sense " I told them, Enola looked like her eyeball would pop out from her socket

" Holy Dom" Enola said, I looked at her weirdly

" Enola don't start " Ash said

" what does that mean" I asked

" Well May, Leonardo is like that sometimes, he does things outta the blue, and he's quite commanding" Ash said

50 minutes later, she's done a light makeup on me and forced me to wear the dress

" there you're good to go, now hurry up, you have 9 minutes " She said

" I'll bash your skull in if you don't get up and leave here" she threatened

" Here, now get the f outta here" she said pushing me out

I sluggishly made my way outside, when I arrived I found Leo waiting for me outside, looking dashing as always, well at least I ain't underdressed, ' thanks to him' my brain said , shut up

" you're 10 minutes late" he said, yes dummy do I look interested in whatever this is

" Good evening to you too" I said then walked to the car, opened it and got in, I heard him mummer something in Italian, before getting in

" where are you taking me" I asked

"you'll see " he said

" Sigh" I took out my ear buds and stuff my ears with them, since he wants to be rude I'll show him rude

We reached the destination, it was even a restaurant he could have just said so, I opened the door without waiting for him then got down, without waiting for him I got inside the restaurant, the receptionist saw me and was about to stop but I guess he saw Leonardo behind me so he kept quiet, I walked to the last table at the furthest end and sat there

" Bab.. "

" Stop there, don't call me that" I said cutting him off " First of all you commanded me to come here, not even asking, then you tell me I'm late, ten minutes late first thing you said when you saw me how's that's proper" I said

" I'm leaving " he said

" What, you still have few months, before you graduate " I said, what does he mean by leaving

" that has been taken care of" he said

" I.. I.. I need some air" I stood up don't even know where I'm heading to, just going I found myself at the balcony so I stood there, he's joking right, was preparing for the months coming and now he's just dumping this on me

" When are you leaving" I asked him

" This Saturday " he said

" Today is Thursday for f**k sake " I said " What didn't you tell me sooner"

" Let me go " I protested, the more I tried to break free the more he tightens his hold on me, don't even know when I started crying and slowly fell down, but he kept holding me

After a few minutes he held my head up and cleaned my tears

" I'm sorry" he said

" will you be in contact, like calling and all that " I said standing up

" I'd try" he said " I promise, I'd do my best" he said

" Don't " I told him

" Don't call, don't text, nothing " I told him

" You say this is important, I won't be on your way" I told him

" No buts, do what you have to do" I said,then started walking away

I called an Uber, since it was faster, but this one was 7 minutes away, it was already raining heavily outside

" I'll take you back" Leonardo said from behind me

" No, I've called a cab" I told him

" It's raining and it's cold, lemme just take you home"

" I said no" I almost shouted

He sighed, took of his jacket and dipped it over me, then walked back inside, After s few minutes I looked inside to see him at the bar, the Uber arrived and I went back to the dorm with it

I immediately went to my room and took of all my clothes dumped then on the floor, wore one of his shirts then cried myself to sleep

" Where's the dating girl" I heard, I opened my eyes and saw Ash with Enola

"Arhh" I groaned then closed my eyes,

" Why is here so dark" Enola said, before I could say no she opened all the curtains

" Jesus, can you guys just leave me alone" I shouted, they both paused for a minute

" May" Ash said

" Sorry, I'm sorry" I said

" Are you on your period" Enola asked

" Leonardo is leaving" I said " he's leaving"

" So soon" Ash murmured but I heard her

" You knew, and you didn't tell me " I said

" May I didn't know it would happen this soon, also I thought to leave it for him to tell you" she said

" Okay" I said

" Will you be keep in touch" Enola ask " I mean it can be a long distance relationship" she added

" No, I guess it's serious so I told him not to contact me" I told them

" Why would you do that" Enola asked

" you did the right thing" Ash said

" What" Enola asked

" Yes, she did the right thing, This isn't the first time this is happening, but this might be the last and the longest, so it's best to not be in contact " she said

" What's gonna happen " I asked

" I don't know, and my brother wouldn't tell me neither would Bruno " she said " All I know is that it's serious"

" Okay, I wanna sleep " I told them, lie I feel like crying

" Oh Honey, come here " Ash hugged

" I'm not s hugger but I'll get some chocolate for you, I'll be back " Enola said
