FALLING INTO FOREVER

Winter approached immediately so did the winter ball, i turned 18 few months ago and no I don't celebrate birthdays, I find them annoying and Ash respected my wishes thank God for her, I really don't understand the need for the ball but all this are traditions and i respect tradition, also it's snowing, first time I'm seeing snow, ha, it's beautiful

Me and Leo are doing well, I guess. We've gone on a few dates since then, and they've all been wonderful. However, he's gotten pretty busy lately, just like Bruno and Antonio. I suppose it's work-related.

" May are you hearing me" I heard Ash say breaking my train of thoughts, we're selecting the ball dress, trust me it's stressful

" sorry you were saying"

" she's thinking about Leonardo again" Enola said while typing on her phone

" no I'm not, just lost in thought" I defended

" ya sure thing"

" May I was asking which one you prefer amongst this dresses" Ash asked

I looked at the dress all are equally beautiful, a beautiful shade of blue with glitters on them, princess cut, but non caught my eyes

" they're all beautiful but I don't like any" I told her

" Why, look you need to find yourself a gown this is the third store we've been to and you're still saying no, later someone would say I'm very picky" Ash said pouting

" okay okay, I'm sorry let's go to one more store, I might find what I like there "

" okay let's go "

" urh this is not cool" we heard Enola say

" why did we bring you with us again " I asked

" I don't even know " she said

We arrived at the fourth store but then I received a call, it was from Leo

" girls I've gat to take this" I told them

" is it Leo, tell him I said hi, also we'll be in, when you're done you can come inside" Ash said

" okay thanks" I picked the call

' hey babe' he said from the other end

‘ hey, how are you doing '

' stressed out ' he said

' I told you to take rest at intervals right'

' ya but I had to finish work first so I can call you'

' hm, sounds cheesy ' I said laughing

' I miss you ' he said, my heart skipped a bit, I hesitated a bit ' you don't have to say it back, I know you do to' he said

' ya, well when will you be back, winter ball is like a week away '

' really so soon' he faked shocked

' urh stop faking ' I said laughing

' of course I remember, who else will dance with you if not me ' I can imagine him smirking right now

' a lot of people, like Edward ' I knew I stuck a nerve

' he wouldn't dare'

' ha anyways gat to go now, still haven't chosen a dress'

' I'm sure Ash has chosen one already or even three and is forcing you to chose your dress ASAP ' be said laughing

' like you're right, she wants to crucify me ' he continued laughing " Wow" I said out loud

' what's wrong '

' wrong ke, everything is right, I just saw the perfect dress ' I told him

' really how much let me send the money ' he said

' I don't need your money arh, I have enough probably more than you' I told him

' ha bae you're funny, even if you have more money than me I'll still spoil you'

' ya ya gat to go, bye, later '

' alright bye, love you ' he said, and I froze again till the call cut, phew that was intense

Now how did I reach here, guess I was a walking talking, ha like the phone version

As I entered the fourth store, I saw it – the perfect dress. It was love at first sight. The dress was a beautiful shade of black with subtle blue undertones, reminiscent of the rare black snow. I felt a rush of excitement and nervousness as I approached the dress. The seller, an elegant woman with a warm smile, greeted me.

"Welcome, dear! You've found the star of our collection. Isn't it stunning?" she asked, noticing my fascination with the dress.

I nodded, still speechless. The seller continued, "This dress is one-of-a-kind, inspired by the beauty of black snow. It's made from the finest materials and crafted with precision."

I hesitated, unsure if I should try it on. But the seller encouraged me, "Trust me, dear, you won't regret it. This dress will make you shine."

I took a deep breath and decided to try it on. As I slipped into the dress, I felt a surge of confidence and elegance. The dress hugged my curves perfectly, and the black and blue hues complemented my skin tone.

The seller gasped, "You look breathtaking! The dress was made for you."

I gazed at myself in the mirror, and my heart skipped a beat. I felt like a princess, and the dress made me feel seen and beautiful. I knew I had to have it.

"I'll take it," I said, my voice filled with conviction.

The seller beamed, "Excellent choice! You won't regret it."

" where have you been" Ash screamed " I thought you were lost or something"

" Mama I'm sorry, I wondered off a bit" I said, ouch, my ear

" a bit, it's been 30 minutes, we haven't even found a dress yet" she said

" well momma, I did, I found a dress" I told her

" really, okay no more punishment, let me see it" she said then let go of my ear " go change into it"

" okay " I immediately changed into the dress " what do you think "

" wow" Enola said, she even dropped her phone, ha " who are you"

" May your dress is beautiful but it's a winter ball, it's supposed to be blue " Ash said

" ya there's blue on the dress" Enola pointed out

" sure but black is there too, looks of blacks" Ash say

" sounds racist " I said laughing making her go glare at me " okay search for black snow on Google " I told them

" hmm a rare occurrence, caused sometimes by volcanic eruptions, blah blah blah " Enola said

" ya I'm tryna be a balance in-between the two, so you understand " I told Ash

" okay it makes sense, okay let's go, I'm starving, I want to eat Sushi" Ash said

" I want noodles " Enola said " what of you"

" I'll eat a hot pot I guess " I smiled

" To a Chinese restaurant " me and Ash said at once

" yaa" Enola dragged

The week of the ball came faster then ever, seems like the days move fast this days Leo has been less busy with work but he isn't back yet, hope he comes to the ball unless I'll just leave in-between

" May let's go the chariot is waiting"

ya you read right chariot, the school booked a bigger hall to accommodate the students from other schools so ya it's a big ball filled with elites to be precise, and since it's a ball we're told to rent chariots to take us there, it isn't far of so it's okay

" Ash are we sure this is the right hall" I asked her

" that's sarcasm right" she asked me " cause you can literally see people going into the hall"

" ya look at there dressing" Enola pointed out " all blue well looks like May would stand out " she said laughing

" ya our May would stand out, in fact the three of us will" Ash said laughing

" let's go in "
