3rd person POV.
The hospital was full of people grinning around as cries could be heard all through out. “One more push!” Consoled the nurse as labor was nearing its end. The woman cried in pain as she gave her all into giving life to her children. Twins were incredibly rare among the packs. Especially the royals. The entire pack had gathered and was waiting for the arrival of the new prince and princess. The king waited patiently next to the queen, unsure of how he can be of service to her.
At last, crying of a baby girl could be heard. “The princess is here!” The doctor exclaimed. He placed the baby on her mother as the mother cried with joy. 16 hours of labor finally paid off.
Suddenly, after only a few short minutes of waiting, the contractions started again with a loud scream. “Take her!” Said one of the nurses as she took the princess away from the queen preparing for the next baby. “He is crowning!” Called the mid-wife. Only seconds later, the prince was in the hands of the doctor. “At last! We have the prince!” The doctor placed the boy with his mother, as she smiled up at her husband knowing how happy he was.
“Her Blood pressure is dropping too much!” Called a nurse as the heart rate machine started beeping more rampantly. “Come with me, your highness.” A nurse instructed the king while taking the boy from his mother and leading the king, still holding the princess, out of the delivery room into the nursery. “Wait here.” “What’s happening to my wife?!” Yelled the furious man as the nurse rushed out to aid the other staff.
Roughly an hour had passed with no news about Queen Victoria. The king waited pacing the room while his children slept in cribs near by. He looked as his daughter with anger. “If she dies, you die.” He whispered under his breath glaring at the helpless child.
Another thirty minutes passed when a nurse and the doctor entered the room. “How is she?” The king hurriedly asked. “I am sorry, your majesty. We did all we could. She lost too much blood and didn’t have enough strength to survive.” The king waled as he slammed his fist against a metal counter top putting a large dent in the steel. “My son and I will leave at once. The princess killed her mother in treason. She must join her mother in her state.” Instructed the king. “She is not to live after draining away the life from my mate. Get ride of her.” “But your majesty!” The doctor protested, but it fell on deaf ears as the king stormed out with the boy to announce the death of the queen to his pack.
“We can’t just abandon her! But what else can we do?” Asked the nurse still in disbelief of the situation the King put them in. “I will make sure she is taken care of. She will life a long happy life. In the human world.” The doctor responded picking up the baby and leaving the room. He took the baby into the closest human city backroads and waited.
An hour or so later, a car pulled over onto the side of the road. The person inside seemed to be distraught. He was clearly upset by something. The doctor took this as the opportunity to leave the baby in good hands. He placed the baby in a blanket as the autumn wind blew cold that night before retreating back into the shadows of the thick forest.
POV. Man in the car.
“ I can’t take this!” I yelled out as I pulled over on the side of the road. I just lost everything. My wife to cancer, and my child was still born. I cried for was seemed like forever. When I calmed down I thought I was hearing things. I thought I heard the faint cry of a newborn. ‘It’s Probably just God tormenting me’ I thought to myself. It took me another 5 minutes to realize there was something small moving slightly a few meters in front of my car. I got out to investigate while keeping my guard up. There have been sightings of a large wolf near by and I didn’t want to take any chances. As I got closer, I realized it was just a small baby. No older than a day. She hadn’t even been washed yet. I frantically looked around to see if I could find who left a child out like this. I picked the baby up and found a small note. The only thing it had written was the first name of the child. Nothing else. At that moment I knew it was God’s way of giving me a second chance of being a father. I made my way back to my car and placed her in the baby carrier that I had gotten previously. I took her to the near by hospital and made sure she was healthy. She was dehydrated but nothing some baby formula couldn’t help. I took her home and she became my little warrior princess.

The doctor watched from behind a tree as the man took the baby into the car and drove off thanking God that the princess was safe and would grow up. “Stay safe princess.” The doctor whispered as he went back to the hospital to finish the paper work required.
