I was sitting in my office, just finishing a day's work and contemplating how to deal with Kingsley later on. However, I waited a long time and Kingsley just didn't come.
Feeling puzzled, I picked up my cell phone and gave Kingsley a call.
When he answered, his voice sounded notably different from his previous overbearing look, more like a defeated rooster as he whispered, "What's wrong?"
My mouth twitched as I responded, "Didn't you say you were coming to my company? What time is it, and where are you?"
Kingsley seemed to recall the plan, pursed his lips, and replied, "I'm out and about. How about dinner instead?"
