Chapter 5Paddy’s Pub was its typically busy night on Monday. As a neighborhood bar, it catered to a lot of actors, stagehands, and others who made their livelihoods in the nearby theatres, so with most shows dark on the first day of the week, the intimate space tended to draw those who considered this day their weekend. Jimmy and Kellan took two empty seats at the far edge of the bar, facing the front entrance, while Paddy quickly served up two pints of Guinness without either of them having ordered.
