LOVE AND BETRAYAL

CHAPTER ONE

"You're the reason why my son is like this." Mr Blake yelled at Diamond who just stood there shedding tears. She's been hearing the same phrase from her dad everyday and it brings pain to her. Her brother had an accident in school but it wasn't entirely her fault. She was just trying to save him but ended up hurting him.

"Dad I swear, I never meant to hurt Edy." She said In tears but her words received a sight blinding slap.

"It's your fault! You're a lying b***h just like your mother." He spat and left the room

"Diamond please stop crying. I know it's not your fault. You were just trying to save me." Edy said to her

"Maybe I really deserve dad's hate towards me." She said to him

"Diamond, you know where Mom is , why don't you go and meet her? Dad keeps punishing you for what's not your fault. Just look at your skin, this is not how you should be. Very soon, he will take you to the back and tie you close to that raging fire. please Diamond just go and stay with mom, she will take care of you." He said to her. He's heartbroken seeing his sister suffering everyday in the hands of the man called their father. He's tried many times to talk sense into him but he decides to do whatever he pleases with Diamond because he thinks he's wife cheated on him and Diamond is the result of that betrayal.

"I can't leave you here with this monster." She said but his mind was already made up.

"I can take care of myself. You're done with College. Just attend a medical school and go for practice, so that you can achieve your dreams. I will be here, waiting for you." He said

"You're the best big brother." She said happily but deep down, she was sad. There's hope for her brother Walking again but her father will never believe her so she resolved within her that she will make sure he's on his feet again.

"As for Mr Ramirez Kamiel, just wait for me, I'll make sure I ruin you completely just like how you and your son ruined my family." With that said, she hugged her brother and sneaked out of the gate.

Hours later, Mr Blake came inside the room and searched everywhere for Diamond but she was nowhere to be found. He ordered guards and securities everywhere but all efforts proved futile. He asked Edy but Edy denied not seeing her anywhere. With a frustrated sigh, he went to the places she loved to visit but she was no there.

"Where did this impure blood run to? Does she think she can escape from me? Impossible!." He said as she drove his car and left the place.

When he got home, he saw Edy trying to wheel himself out of the room so he took over from him.

"Are. you sure you don't know where your sister is?"

"Is it written on my forehead that I know her way about?." He have been looking for a way to save Diamond from him and he's finally succeeded.

"Maybe she couldn't take the pain anymore she dicided to run away. How can you treat a human being like that? You beat her everyday, deny her food, tie her to an angry fire, punish her in an extremely cruel manner." Mr Adams, Blake's brother chipped in.

"If anything should happen to her, I'll cease to be your son or related in anyway to you." He said and threw his face to the other side

"Why are you guys against me because of that b***h's daughter? she deserves everything I did to her because her mom hurt me." He yelled

"My mom is not a b***h!" He said and wheeled himself back in annoyance

"You just killed your sweet innocent daughter. watch what's coming for you." He said with a low voice and left.

"The is what that b***h wanted." He said and left.

Diamond got to New York the next day and called her mom to come and take her home and in a very short time, a BMW screeched to a stop before her and her mom came out. When she saw her mom, she hugged her so tight almost to the point of suffocation and let down all the tears she's been holding back.

Mrs Linda Blackstone looked at her daughter in disbelief. Hot tears burned her cheeks and she let them flow freely. The onlookers were wondering why the heavy tears but but Linda was just happy to see her daughter again.

"Linda, I missed you so much. You don't know how I suffered." Diamond said. She always call her mom by her name and it sounds unique to her.

"Don't worry dear, I'll make up for all the wrongs he's done to you okay?"

"okay."

They got into the car and it took them to the house. Diamond wowed at the majestic building. From the marvel floor to the brick wall, the enormous gold chandelier, the half wall television and the Floor to ceiling windows. It was a beautiful house indeed.

"Linda is this your house?"

"Yes dearie. Your grandparents wanted the best for me after the divorce so I was given my own house and enough money to start my own business." She said happily

"I want to bath so that I can go for a ride with you." She said

"Sure dear. I miss riding with my baby."

After some time, they both hopped on the all black power bike with Diamond driving. The drive was crazy but her mom loved it. She jumped potholes like she marked them before riding. The onlookers were puzzled and wondered who will drive at such high speed. As the drive continued, the cops were on their trail.

"Linda, hold on tight because you might fall if you don't." She said and her mom obeyed. The drive intensified and the cops were chasing relentlessly but Diamond was a skilled rider, she diverted in a lone rode and took different turns and finally, they landed at someone's house.
