He’d just spent an hour at Eriksen’s, signing away money he didn’t have yet on a payment plan to get Mom cremated—the cheapest option, though he had no idea what the hell he was going to do with her ashes—and he was more conscious than ever that every day he was digging himself into a deeper financial hole.
