Chapter 2: The new kid

It has been almost three years since I was raped by Chris, after my birthday and not having a wolf scent, i got picked on for being human, they called me the outcast. I was banned form attending pack events, the thing is I didn't give a s**t, less time I had be around Chris. Ira and I trained everyday, i could take on the Alpha and win and I hadn't even reached my full potential yet. Along with being an incredible fighter, because our bond was stronger than any other wolf, Ira and I  were able to do things no one else could. I can enter anyone's mind and talk to them if I please, usually i send mental pictures to people to torture them, its how I practice, Ira encourages it too. For instance while in math class I made Chris pictures of his parents having s*x, he vomited and had to leave, other tormentors got snippets of them in their worst nightmare. Our school began opening it doors more, we now have underage rouges attending our school, most of them are cool, I usually hangout with them because they don't judge me, they don't care that i'm human, and i don't care that they are rouges.

There were four in particular I had gotten close with. Dawson, William, Mia and Rose. I wanted to tell them my secret but I knew why wasn't able to. William had even offered to teach me to fight, after I told him about the rape. I couldn't keep it from him after he had found me crying under the bleachers, I also told him about the threat against Tanner and made him promise not to do anything stupid. I didn't tell him about Ira though. William was the only one who knew of my plan to leave once I turned eighteen, I wanted to go to Vermont to see the leaves the change in the fall. I wanted to dance in the rain in Seattle, and I wanted to climb a redwood tree in California. The best part, was that William offered to accompany on my adventures, he hated being a rouge, but he would stay one for me. I was really hoping to the goddess he was my mate.

One morning we were sitting on the grass and Dawson was playing music on his phone. I got up from beside William, with Mia and Rose, and we started dancing. My grey shirt and jean shorts showing off my assets, my hair was tied up in two french braids. I had on my favorite combat boots with black socks that went up to my shins. While we were dancing i saw a new girl walking around, her dark locks were pulled into a messy bun, her shirt was a dark plum color that looked stunning with her tan skin, she wore black faded skinny jeans and a pair of all white shoes. I soon realized i wasn't the only one watching her, I saw Chris stalking her way. He reached her before I could move and started talking to her, her body language screamed uncomfortable so i left my dance party and walked over to them.

"I can always show you to the office." Chris said, flashing her a smile, i once found dashing, now it made my stomach churn.

"Uh.... I think I can find it, thanks." The girl said timidly. 

"Come on i'm the best tour guide in the school." He lied "Plus I am the alpha of the pack who's land your on, rouge. " She bowed her head and nodded weakly.

"There you are!" i said walking over, both of their heads snapped up in my direction. Chris scowled and the new girl looked at me confused. "You're the new girl. the principle asked me to show you around." I flashed her a smile, and she looked relieved. Chris however looked pissed.

"Sorry, Alpha, maybe another time." The girl said as she rushed over to me.

"So first I'm taking you to the office and getting your schedule and locker info, then I'll walk you to your classes." I told her as we walked toward the building and away from Chris. "My name is Finn, your rescuer."

"Rescuer?"

"Yep, i wasn't really sent by the principle, you looked uncomfortable with the douche bag, so I saved you."

"Well thank you Finn," she giggled. "My name is Ella." We made small talk on our way to the office, but unfortunately we ran into Brooke, the wanna be Luna.

"Well if it isn't the dull human and who are you?" She sneered at us.

"Well if it isn't the b***h who lays on her back to catch a bone." I said coldly. I heard Ella gasp beside me, Brooke was livid.

"Excuse me, Who the hell do you think you are?!"

"Ummmm, Finn, yeah I'm Finn and who are you?"

"I am Chris's mate and your future Luna! b***h!"

"Not mine, I'm human remember, I have no Alpha or Luna." I grinned coldly.

"Not but I will be your sister's Luna, I can make her life a living hell."   At the threat of my sister, I grabbed her by the throat and shoved her against the wall

"Talk about Tanner again, and no werewolf alive will be able to find all your body parts after i rip you to shreds." Brooke reached for my hands trying to claw them off. Ella was standing in the same spot to shocked to move. "No one would miss you, you're just a pack slut, f*****g any wolf who gives you the time of day. The only reason Chris puts up with your fake ass is because you're easy. Now leave before i really lose my temper." I said as i released her throat. She slumped down on the ground grabbing her neck coughing and gasping for air. I grabbed Ella's arm and pulled her to the office gently.

"How did you just take on a wolf, you're human?!"

"Brooke is weak, she doesn't train, and when people threaten my sister i gain some type of super strength." I grinned at her. She laughed at my statement then got all her papers we went to her first class. I kept assisting her. When it was lunch time, we got our food then i showed her to our table.

"So Ella the brawny guy with the cute curls is Dawson, the small girl to his left with the red hair is Rose, next to her is her mate Mia the caramel skinned goddess. They are the cutest couple, and last but not least the brunette with the stunning icy eyes and tribal tattoo on his left arm is William."

"Call me Billy, Finn refuses to for some reason, which is why I refer to her as Finley." William said.

"Don't lie you love it William!" I stated, he shook his head and got back to eating. Ella and I sat down, Ella between Dawson and myself, while I took my seat next to William. "Don't be such a sour puss." I whispered to him. He growled lowly then put me in a headlock. I pinched his side lightly after pretending to fight for a minute and he let me go, playfully shoved me away.

"So Ella where are you from?"Mia asked, smiling at William and I.

"Well I move around a lot, my brother travels for work and drags me with him, but we are originally from the Blue-forest pack." She said

I zoned out some of the conversation when i saw Chris staring daggers at me, Brooke was beside him glowering at me. I smirked at them and flipped them off, I counted the days until i turned eighteen and could finally leave. I got sucked back in when William nudged my arm

"You good?" he whispered in my ear, leaning down. He grabbed my hand under the table.

"Yeah." I hadn't really touched my food, Chris had that effect. I grabbed my apple and pushed the rest of my food at William. He took his hand from mine and began eating the food I'd given him.

"Are you two a thing?" Ella said looking at me.

"No, Finley is my best friend and i'm hers." William said, his mouth full of my food.

"Yeah, I'm not really into dating anyway." I said. The rest of lunch we talked about our classes and how boring they were.

After lunch i kept helping Ella with her schedule. We both had gym last class with William, being in a school of wolves we mostly did defensive training and laps. Today we were sparring, I was paired against Dylan, Chris's future gamma. I put my hands behind my back and stood with my feet shoulder width apart. He struck first, aiming for my abdomen, i easily evaded and struck him in his jaw before he could block. He grabbed his jaw then charged me, i crouched down as he was running at me then i stood when he was nearly on top of me and I flipped him over my back, using his momentum against him. I then pinned him to the ground and began pounding his face. William pulled me off of him after about ten blows. Once he let me go I made my way to the locker room. I changed and cleaned the blood of my knuckles, and went back to the class. Dylan was sitting on the ground with a black eye, broken jaw, and gash above his eyebrow, those were the wounds that hadn't healed yet. He looked at me sadly and barred my teeth at him. I walked back to the rest of class to see a kid named Dustin on the ground, William standing above him. Then he walked over to my side, his six foot three frame towering over my five foot five body.

Ella was paired against Chris for the next match. He lounged and she blocked but he threw another punch to fast. She was down but he got on her and started punching her face. I ran in and kicked him off her and pulled her up, tucking her behind me.Chris growled at me his usual blue eyes, black. He charged, but William got in his way and growled. The instructor dismissed everyone and i walked Ella to the locker room.

"Are you good Ella?" I asked as she cleaned the blood off her face.

"I'm fine." She had a hint of annoyance in her voice. "You do realize i can fend for myself right?"

"I figured, but I will take any opportunity to beat Chris and his friends, why do you think Dylan's face is still healing?" I said nonchalantly.

"Why?"

"They picked on me for being who i am, I'm showing them, just because I'm human doesn't mean i'm weak. I would love to walk you out, but i gotta get home, I'll see you tomorrow." With that I left, I wasn't really going home though, I was headed to the forest to train with Ira. I felt bad about not telling my rouge friends about her, especially William and Dawson. Mia and Rose couldn't keep a secret to save their lives, so no way I could tell them, but Dawson never told a soul when I let it slip i dated Chris once upon a time, and William held my second biggest secret in his head.

Once in the woods I shifted and ran the perimeter twenty times, not resting once. I went to the brook and got a drink. We then worked on my striking, in both wolf and human form. While in human form I was able to partially shift, which almost no wolf can do. History has only ever recorded two before me, another bonus of being one and the same as Ira, is that i was immune to both silver and wolfsbane. After training i ran all the way home, just in time for dinner.

The next day I was sitting on the grass as usual, when the douche squad rolled up, whooping and hollering. I sighed, I had forgot it was Chris's birthday. The day dragged on, everyone was trying to get in Chris's favor by giving him gifts and wishing him a happy birthday. He was staring at me throughout lunch, usually i don't care, but it made me squirm that day. The surprises kept coming too, after classes I sat with the rouges, Wednesday was the one day I didn't train with Ira, and Chris walked up to us. 

"Hello rouges." He said neutrally.

"The f**k do you want?" i asked annoyed.

"I wanted to inform you all I found my mate and she is among you." He grinned a sinister grin. My heart skipped a beat and i couldn't breathe i really hoped he didn't say me. "Ella doll, looks like you're the future Luna of the Dark-river pack."

"WHAT?!" She screamed and jumped up. I stood also facing him, There was something about his face, his grin was too cold, his eyes had the same look they did that day a few years ago. I knew he was lying, but I decided to play it smart.

"That's great news, out Luna isn't gonna be a hoe," I turned to Ella "Are we still on for dinner at your place tomorrow?"

"Yeah we are." She beamed at me. "So mate, wanna walk me home?"

"I would love to!" His smile sent chills up my spine.

He grabbed her hand and they left. I waited a few minutes then followed them, I masked my scent fully and shifted to Ira blending in with the shadows. I watched the entire time, they got to her house and kissed goodnight. When she was in he turned and walked far enough away no one would hear him, and he made a phone call.

"Yeah Dad, I'll be home soon, Nothing important, No dad not yet, Yep, Sure, Uh-huh, I'm going for a run, I'll be home for dinner, yeah, Bye." I watched as he shifted into a reddish-brown wolf and ran into the forest a few feet from me. Then i ran home, and shifted into human form before going in.

The next day was uneventful,  Ella sat with Chris at lunch, he had her in his lap and she was laughing non-stop, but then i noticed Chris, Dylan, Mark, and Ella weren't in gym. My stomach sank and I ran to the forest shifting on the way. Then i heard them.

"See boys what did I tell you, this b***h is easy pray, she believed everything I said. Poor weak rouge, no one cares enough about you to save you."

"Stop please!" She sobbed 

"I don't think so bi....." I growled cutting him off. All of them looked at me, Chris already inside Ella, not expecting and interruption. "Go away mutt," he tried using his alpha command but failed miserably.

I ran at them and ripped Mark off Ella, using his arm which ripped from his body as i flung him away. Dylan let go on his own and started running, coward. I turned back toward Chris who had let go of Ella, she was slumped on the ground,  he was too shocked to speak, he knew what a black wolf meant, I rushed him and grabbed his shoulder and threw him against a tree. I padded over to him and grabbed him by the neck, then I heard Ella wake for a moment and i knew she needed me. I set him down and trotted to Ella and shifted to human form with my clothes on. Then lifted her and carried her to her place. I walked in and carried her to her room led by my nose, then found clean clothes for her to wear. I stayed with her, sitting by her bed and waiting for her to wake up, making sure to give her plenty of space.
