Chapter 14: The return

He was standing on the steps of the pack-house with his Luna, who's name I didn't remember, Dylan and a another guy. He was tallish five-eleven, just shorter than Chris, he had dark eyes and red hair, it was down to his shoulders hanging in waves. His skin was pale like Rose's, I was guessing it was his gamma. I held my head high and walked toward them all, William at my side, he was standing at his full height which towered over everyone. Dawson was on my other side, he was tense, his muscles were bulging under his white v-neck.

"Welcome to Dark-river Alpha Billy and Alpha Finn." The Luna said as we reached them. She looked tense and a bit afraid. Chris was looking at the ground. 

"Thank you Luna, I must admit I don't remember you're name as we were never properly introduced." I said kindly to her. I smiled lightly at her and she visibly relaxed.

"My name is Valery. I have heard remarkable things about you Alpha Finn. You are truly an inspiration."

"Thank you Valery." I turned to face the gamma. "You must be the gamma, I didn't see you at the Alpha summit."

"You are correct miss. My name is Gavin, I was here running the pack while my Alpha, Luna and Beta were away."

"Nice to meet you Gavin." I said kindly to him as well. "Beside me in the White t-shirt is my Beta Dawson." I squeezed Williams hand letting him take over.

"And I am Alpha Billy, my Beta Micheal is in the grey beater. You're assigned Warriors are, Devon, Alex, Sydney, Ivan and Sara." The warriors stepped forward and tilted their heads at the group on the steps.

"Our head warrior is on his way." Gavin said as he took in the warriors.

"Should we begin the alliance paperwork?" Chris finally spoke up looking at me, I met his eyes and he looked away.

"We should, we don't want to be here longer than necessary." William growled at Chris. Valery flinched at his tone, a small child ran out of the house with a cardboard tube and a paper plate, he was holding the plate like a shield and the tube like a sword. He let out a war cry and attacked Chris's legs. I laughed out loud, the small boy turned to see all of us smiling at him. He grinned and ran over to William, Valery gasped and Chris whined a bit.

"We are not monsters, unlike you. We would never harm anyone this innocent, no matter who his father is." I said coldly. Valery looked at me as I squatted down to the small boy. He had his mom's jet black hair and deep brown eyes. I ruffled his hair. "What is your name small warrior?" I said softly. 

"I am Sebastian! The future Alpha of this pack." He said puffing out his chest. "Who are you?"

"My name is Finn and the guy you just hit with your sword is my husband Billy, we came here to make a pinky promise with your mom and dad, that we will never come to hurt your family."

"Wow! That is a serious promise, you better not break it." He said scrunching his face at me and pointing a finger at my face.

"Finley would never break a pinky promise, she is way to nice for that." William said squatting next to me.

"That is good. I gotta go now, I'm supposed to help train the new guys." He said with a huge grin.

"Well If you are training them I know, they will be the best fighters in the world." I ruffled his hair again. He giggled and ran off. William stood and aided in getting me back up. Valery was looking at us with a shy smile on her face. Chris was pale and breathing heavily. He turned and walked into the pack house, Valery followed him asking us to give them a minute. 

"What the f**k are you doing here Human?!" An annoying voice sneered at me. I saw Brooke walking out of the house, her dyed auburn hair was new, as was the weight she had gained since high school. Her eyes went wide and she bowed her head when William snarled at her from beside me.

"That is Alpha to you bitch." Dawson spoke up growling at her. Brooke's head snapped up, her eyes wide staring at me. I raised my eyebrow and crossed my arms over my chest.

"My apologies Alpha." She said weakly bowing her head. 

"Alpha Chris is waiting for us in the conference room Alpha's and Beta's." Gavin spoke, he was glaring at Brooke, shooing her away with his hands. She scurried away, and for the first time since I was fifteen I walked into the Dark-river pack house.

We followed Gavin to the conference room where Chris and Valery were waiting, Dylan stayed behind everyone, avoiding eye contact with William and myself. I let William sit across from Chis while I sat beside him and across from Valery, Dawson took his place, deciding to stand behind me, Michael doing the same behind William, our personal guards stayed by the door. Chris cleared his throat and began.

"I...uh...we would like to...." He stuttered.

"We think an alliance would be beneficial to both of our packs." Valery began. "We may not have too much to offer your pack, but we can offer over loyalty and fidelity, to the Moon-stone pack." She said confidently. "Should you need us we would gladly be at your service, should we hear rumors concerning your pack you would be informed. You have the strength and numbers to be able to protect us from the rouge threats that are ever increasing around here." Valery finished looking between William and I hopefully. I turned to him, and him to me. 

(William: I did a bit of research the rouges have been terrible around here lately, they aren't lying when they say we are needed.)

(Finn: I know, I believe we should do this. The pups like Sebastian who are innocent, need protecting.)

"We have decided to accept the alliance." William said. "Not for your loyalty or fidelity, for the innocent children who need protecting." He finished. Chris nodded his head and let out a breath. Then he and Dylan went rigid. 

"Rouges...." Valery's eyes went wide. Sebastian, he was outside with the warriors. Before my brain could process anything I was running through the house and out to the training field. William was on my heels, he shifted and we got to the training field and saw a large reddish wolf heading toward the small unprotected child. I shifted and ran to Seb, standing over him snarling. William attacked the reddish wolf easily over powering him. Chris's red wolf appeared along with a small tan wolf, and a light grey wolf, I knew was Dylan, Chris and Dylan joined in the fighting while the small wolf approached me. I let Seb run to his mother and I grabbed a brown wolf as it lunged at them. I snapped his neck and snarled loudly using my alpha powers, I walked toward Atrox as the wolves stopped fighting and turned to us. He let out a nasty growl and the rouges whimpered and ran, Chris and Dylan looked at us and shifted, their eyes saucers. A dark brown wolf whimpered and I saw it only had three legs. I snarled and it shifted to Mark, I let out a wolfish laugh and shifted back with clothes on. William shifted back and wrapped his arm around my shoulder and placed his other on my stomach, checking on the pups.

(Finn: They are okay, I wouldn't have shifted if it were dangerous for them babe.)

(William: I know, I just get worried.) He kissed my head as everyone stared.

"Mark, long time no see. How is your arm?" I sneered.

"How...?" I heard Chris whisper.

"What you didn't put two and two together? Why do you think I had to hide my wolf? How did I know about what happened to Ella? and How did I get to be an Alpha of one of the most successful packs in the world?"

"You saved our future Alpha, thank you Finn." Dylan managed to speak. He bowed to me, and sighed. I looked inside his head and saw something unexpected. He had a crush on me in high school. He didn't want to help Chris but was forced to. He tried killing himself more than once because of it. He didn't want to be Beta either, he wanted to leave Dark-river but was forced to stay.

"I saved him because he is a child Dylan." I said softly. I showed William what I had seen in Dylan's head and he sighed. I then looked into Chris's head. He was planning on betraying us, by killing William and our pups along with his own mate, and should I not mate with him me as well. He told no one his plan for fear of being betrayed.

"Tell me your plans for us Chris." I commanded him. 

(We know his plans. We should just kill him) Ira growled in my head

He has to tell everyone so they can see what kind of person he really is Ira.

(Will you let me rip into him?) 

Ummm Of course, you have been patiently waiting since we were fifteen.

(Good)

"I plan on taking over Moon-stone pack by killing Alpha Billy and your pups, should you refuse to be my Luna after I kill Valery, you as well." He said, eyes going wide, not believing he had just said that aloud in front of so many wolves.

"WHAT?" William snarled, Atrox took over and he shifted he grabbed Chris by the throat, I shifted letting Ira rip off Chris's manhood. He screamed and writhed in pain. I shifted back and put his d**k down his throat.

"Dylan he has done more to you than any other wolf here, would you like to do the honor of killing him?"

He growled and nodded. Atrox let Dylan take over and he trotted next to me. I kissed his muzzle and he licked the blood off my face.

"You have used me to do unspeakable things, taking away my free will, I have hated you for years, and yet you kept me close, so you could torture me even more, you knew about my thing for Finn and you took pleasure in making me watch as you made her fall for you, and you lied to her saying Mark and I had a bet. Then you made me help you take her innocence." Dylan growled before he ripped his throat out. Valery ran to him and kneeled beside her dead mate. Tears fell from her face, I slipped into her mind and showed her what had just happened. She snarled and spit on her dead mate. She stood and faced myself and William.

"Is there anyway I can leave with you two. I don't want to live here any longer, I really believed he had changed." I nodded and she looked at Dylan, who was shaking with rage, still. "Dylan Thomas I hereby give you the power to lead this pack, Sebastian will not be back, and I will no longer be the Luna."

Dylan stood tall and the pack bowed their heads to Dylan, he sighed and looked around, a bit lost.

"Alpha Dylan Thomas, Alpha Billy and I had an alliance with the previous Alpha of this pack, we would still like to keep the alliance, if you are interested." I spoke loud and clear. He looked toward Atrox/William and myself.

"Alpha Finn Dalton." I held up my hand to stop him.

"My name is Finn Vane now." I corrected him. He nodded while William licked my face making me giggle.

"Alpha Finn and Billy Vane I would also like to keep the same alliance, but to sweeten the pot I will send you monthly payments of a thousand dollars for the warriors training us."

"Deal. We will help get Valery and Sebastian ready and we will leave once they are set."

"Yes ma'am." Dylan said
