Operation: Rescue Lina part 2

1903 Words
Ivan knelt down before the Lina who sat in front of him. He looked up at her, as his face twisted with remorse and anguish. His eyes fell upon the many scars that were etched into her skin. The worst part of it was her face, as she looked at him with a pained expression. Her eyes dripped tears of despair as she looked at the person responsible for what had happened to her.        “H-how could you?” she said, as she was punched in the face by Jasper.        “Stop that! There’s no need for violence. I thought you were going to ransom her! Why’d you even need to cut her like this-”        He was given a swift kick to the stomach as he hurled his lunch at Lina’s feet. She turned away as Jasper continually kicked Ivan in the stomach, without any kind of remorse or regret.        “You are not in the position to make demands, you little s**t! You got me the wrong girl!”        “Wrong? How could I be wrong?! She has red hair doesn’t she?”        Ivan received another swift kick in the stomach.        “The ginger you dipshit! I wanted the ginger!”        “Th-then you should have specified-”        Ivan was kicked again, as he collapsed onto the floor.        “Th-they both have red-”        Jasper stomped on Ivan’s stomach and twisted his foot right into the gut of the incapacitated student.        “You have proven yourself to be f*****g incompetent. As a result, I have no use for you.”        Jasper pulled out his gun and aimed it right at the boy’s head.        “Locke! Think before you pull out that damned gun!” Emily shouted from the corner of the room.        “W-wait! Please! I can fix this!” Ivan begged and pleaded for his life.        “It’s too late,” Jasper said, as he c****d his gun.        “Stop!” Emily yelled out.        With the pull of the trigger, a small bang rang throughout the room, even when muffled by the silencer. In an instant, Ivan’s brains were splattered all over the floor and stained the cement with red. His once trembling body was now still, as the pool of blood continued to gush out. The pool of blood enlarged and reached the dirty sneakers of Lina, who at this point was in shock at what she had just witnessed. Her eyes were wide with the horror of the image that lay before her. She looked at the lifeless body of Ivan, who just recently she had befriended. She looked at the barrel of the gun, which was still smoking from the intensity that it fired the bullet. Finally, she looked at the blood that ran until her feet. Suddenly, everything finally clicked in her head. The person that was once alive, was now dead. And it was her captor that took that life. Once everything had made sense in her head, the horror of the situation was now even more real to her. She let out a shriek of terror as she was immediately knocked out by the person behind her.   ----------          “How much longer ‘til they get here?” Charlie asked nervously, as he kept his eyes on the gate of the warehouse, which was now shut.        “Not much longer. We gotta wait a little bit. Be patient.”        It was then that they heard the sound of a bang come from the inside of the building. Both Red Light and Charlie jumped at the sound and immediately looked at each other in panic.        “Was that?-”        “Sounds like it, kid.”        Charlie unbuckled his seat belt and unlocked the door. Immediately, Red Light grabbed onto his wrist and pulled him away from the door.        “Kid, listen. If you run out there now, it might jeopardize this entire mission! Do you understand?”        “What if that was her?! I have to get her out of there!”        “They are almost here!”        “Then they will be here in time to back me up!”        Red Light started to lose his patience.        “Do you think this is a game, kid?!”        “No! I don’t! The girl I love is in f*****g danger and I’m sitting here twiddling my thumbs! Of course, this isn’t a f*****g game! If you’re so worried about me, then come with me! Otherwise, I’m going on my own.”        Red Light looked like he was about to yell but instead calmed himself enough to understand Charlie’s feelings. He let out a sigh and looked over at the car that both Jules and 3D were sitting in. Jules seemed to be looking around anxiously for the back up to arrive. Everyone seemed ready to jump at a moment’s notice.        “Do you have a plan?” Red Light asked Charlie.        “Yeah, I do.”        Red Light sighed again.        “Let’s hear it then.”   ----------          Jasper had his men clean up the mess and wrap the body in a large mess of plastic before hauling it to the back of the room. The stench of blood filled Lina’s nose as she tried her best to stop herself from throwing up. He looked back at the girl, who was out of her mind with fear. He noticed her eyes were completely fixed on the gun.        “Oh, what? This?” he said as he lifted the gun slightly.        She jumped as her eyes locked onto the movements of the gun.        “You like this?” he said, as he waved it in her general direction.        She mistook it as him pointing the gun at her, as she began to shake even more, and desperately tried to move her body out of the range of the gun.        “Aha, so you do like this?” he said, as he fixed the barrel of the gun directly onto her forehead.        “P-please don’t!” she cried out, as she trembled at the faintly warm tip of the gun.        “Will you talk?”        She said nothing. In reply to this silence, he pressed the gun even harder onto her forehead.        “Will you talk, girl?!”        “O-ok ok! Please, just don’t shoot!”        He chuckled with an evil tone.        “So it seems the only problem was my weapon of choice, huh? Of course! You ain’t scared of a knife! Your body was covered in scars even before you got here!” he said as he began waving the gun around frantically in front of her face. “Ahahaha! Look at you squirm!”        He continued to toy with her for a few moments before he abruptly pressed the barrel to her head once more.        “Now, maybe we can be a little bit more… considerate. Yes?”        “Stop wasting time!” Emily yelled out again, as she went out the back and slipped into the van positioned on the opposite side of the entrance.        “Shut up you damned hag! Let me work!”        She clicked her teeth as she slammed the door shut. It was finally only Jasper and Lina shown in the light that lit the room.        She shook her head, hoping that he would just drop the gun. However, all he did was place his finger in front of the trigger. Suddenly, her adrenaline started to kick in.        “Now… Tell me where Julia Thompson is-”        A faint thud on the outside distracted him from finishing his sentence. Ignoring it, he tried to continue.        “Tell me. Where is Julia Thompson-”        There was another thud, only this time it seemed closer. As if it were inside the lot they were on. Once again, he tried to continue.        “Where is Jul-”        There was another louder thud, just at the foot of the gate.        “What the f**k is going on out there?!” he yelled out, directed at the men just by the door. They shook their heads and shrugged. “Well, f*****g go check why don’t you?!” he said as he pointed his gun towards them. With a jump, they ran out the door. For a moment, there was silence. The two, as well as the rest of the men left inside jumped at the sound. It was a banging sound. Like small explosions. It took them a few seconds before they realized what that sound was. Gun fire. Rage began to fill Jasper’s face as he turned back to Lina. “What did you do, b***h?!” “I-I d-don’t know-” Jasper slapped her with the back of his hand and proceeded to re-tie her hands. He quickly cut the rope using his knife so that she was freed from the chair but tied them again so that she was bound again. She tried to resist, but she lacked the energy to go on. He forcefully pulled her to her feet. But it was too late. The room was overrun with masked men, wearing bulletproof vests and armed with high powered assault rifles. All of them were pointed right at Jasper. Lina looked at the three people in the front. She didn’t notice it at first but she realized that they looked significantly younger than the rest of the people in front of her. They were also not armed. She noticed that their clothes looked incredibly familiar. Her eyes traveled to their faces. Their eyes. It was then that a smile of joy spread across her face and tears of relief ran down her cheeks. “Let her go! You are surrounded. And the police will be here shortly! Give up the girl!” yelled Red Light from the front of the group, pointing the barrel of his gun right at Jasper. Instinctively, Jasper wrapped an arm around Lina and pressed his gun against her temple. “Go f**k yourselves! I know judging by the group. You’re here, aren’t you?” he said, looking directly into the eyes of Jules. She met his glare and tried to be brave. But her knees gave her away as she began to tremble herself. “This is a game only played by big boys, sweetheart. Now come here. That is if you want your friend’s brain to stay inside her skull.” “Please, just let her go!” Jules yelled back. Jasper didn’t answer her. Instead, he released a crazed, psychotic laugh that sent shivers down the spines of everyone in the room. His eyes were wide and deranged as he addressed her demand. “This is the real world, Julia Thompson! And in this world, you gotta give first, before you receive. Now get your ass over here, or so help me God, I will blow this girl’s head clean off her shoulders-” It was then that Jasper felt a sensation pulse through his entire body. Energy. Electricity. He immediately dropped the gun and began to spasm on the floor. Foam started to form in his mouth as he looked up at the person who did this. It was another one of the young ones. He looked up at the boy, and before he passed out from the seizure, his eyes saw the weapon that did him in. A stun gun.   ----------          Jasper was completely out cold as Lina fell to her knees. She was about to fall backward onto the floor as she braced herself for the impact of the cement. Instead, her body landed into the arms of an unknown person. His arms were slightly muscular, but also lean. His fingers were calloused and his palms were rough. His chest was wide, but also kind of boney. She turned her head to find the person who had saved her.        “Max- no… It’s you… isn’t it?”        The voice that replied back to her was undeniable. In her mind she knew, it was definitely his voice.        “I’m here,” replied Charlie.        She leaned into his chest, and let out a sigh of relief. Without saying anything, she blacked out.
