Chapter 6 First Day

1079 Words
While cleaning the floors of the East corridor very few people seemed to use it. I was able to muse. Day 1 at the first job had a very different start than I'd imagined. I'd had some fun and the little sting on my cheek from Mr. Adams reminds me of it. I could tell he hadn't really meant it. I'd fought with my siblings all my life and knew when someone meant real harm. It put a little smile on my face. I hoped I hadn't hit him too hard in return. Mountain Lions only fought or wrestled with those they deemed worthy. Even when mating there was always a display of force as a sign of reverence to the other. Ignoring the ritual was to show uninterest or even unworthiness. I would have to be careful of those playful antics with the human though. My strength far exceeded that of most humans and in return, humans were very fragile. How such a feeble race became so prominent was mystifying. The day went by well. I kept my ear out for any shuffling of feet but none came close. I eventually heard them preparing and gathering for yet another meal. Another advantage of being a werecat over a simple human is that I could go days without eating and be fine. This meant that I could continue working through tea time and lunchtime when everyone was sitting down to eat. It was easier to clean the floors when I knew everyone was at their table. I was able to avoid absolutely everyone and turned up my hearing to give me plenty of time to react accordingly. I walked around the house silently and without shoes which was all very much to my liking. I was able to clean the floors of the entire East corridor and even started lightly passing a wet cloth atop the dusty surfaces. As I smelled supper being prepared it signaled the end of my workday so I put my shoes back on and found Mr. Adams who seemed to be avoiding me. Once he was alone I cornered him. "Hello Mr. Adams, I believe I have completed an acceptable job and wish to leave now" He paused. Saying I was leaving wasn't really meant to be a request. I would have just left but I wanted one more chance to see Mr. Adams. "You will leave after I have inspected your work" "You may do your inspection after I have departed, if you notice any deficiencies we may address it tomorrow upon my return. Do you disagree?" I found a thrill in dominating this man who let a child smack the back of his head. He was meek and feeble however his facial structure and stance did give him an air of strength. My defiance seemed to throw him off again. He looked sweet when he was thrown off balance. I was going to enjoy working with him. "We will see you tomorrow before the family sits to eat breakfast. A list of chores for the day will be posted by the door. Any deficiencies of today must be rectified. If any of these are not you will be punished accordingly. You may leave now." Little mister bossy wanted to gain his dominance back I see. I just had to push a little further but still giving in to his demand of the arrival time. "See you at breakfast Mr. Adams, I'll be sure to look at that list especially if it's in your handwriting. I am curious to know what constitutes a punishment though, maybe I'll leave out something to find out" That last part I said to him in a whisper as I leaned in. My arms behind my back to match his. His posture strained further if that was at all possible. I turned around and opened the door to exit. Looking back I saw him still standing there looking at me. He tried to look stern and defiant but I found it cute. Just before turning again I looked down and noticed a faint outline below his waist. Seems Mr. Adams enjoyed the game as much as I did. I smirked and looked him in the eye again to let him know I noticed. His cheek started getting a faint blush again but before they could become fully flushed he turned around and walked away. I closed the door behind me and grinned broadly. I was excited to come back tomorrow. As I made my way home I thought of Mr. Adams, he was feeble and nothing I would normally dream about mating with. He did have those piercing blueish silver eyes though but dull brown hair with a slim but average build, not muscular as a hunter's should be, and no notable features. He was a foot taller than me which made me need to get on my toes to whisper to him, but I had always been shorter than everyone so this was no different. A small spark of thought made me wonder about having kits with him. I shook it off immediately. A pregnancy in human form would also stop me from shifting to my cat form until the kits were born. Certainly not something I aspired to. He wasn't going to be my mate I decided but I also concluded that I wanted the game to continue. Despite the average look, I could feel my core tingling with excitement at the prospect of making his blood pump hard. Making his cheeks red and his manhood hard. His demeanor was what I liked. His need to be challenged for his submission yet his willingness to submit was a delicacy among the human males. I planned on taking full advantage. Before I knew it I was back in my territory. I went to a nearby river and washed my clothes and used mint and lavender to finish off. The combination of the smells would be relaxing yet spicy when Mr. Adams got a whiff. I giggled at the thought. Leaving my clothes to dry I shifted to my cat form and hunted for super. Just because I could go days without food didn't mean I ever wanted to. After a little while, I gave up. I was too tired and had yet another big day tomorrow. I watched the starry sky from my burrow and while thinking of Mr. Adams I fell asleep and began to dream.
