The wolves tracked her down to the saloon. Cyrca stayed further out to protect our little group.
I entered the saloon.
"Where is she!?" I yelled at Chad
"She's still up in the room. If you want a turn it's going to cost you though" I ran up the stairs two at a time.
Finding her like that. The picture would haunt me forever. Seeing her covered by a thin sheet, limbs tied down, coins and keys on the bed next to her. I broke inside. She would never be the same. How could she after such an abuse? I had fought myself for days trying not to let her see the dark and twisted side of the world and here she was immersed in it. If only I had done something different.
I had a chance now, things could be different. No more hiding from her. I would make sure she knew I was her
