Selena It was getting dark by the time we got to a beautiful cabin at the base of the mountains. It must’ve snowed harder here since there’s a lot more snow here than back home. It’s a two-story cabin with a porch, made of a beautiful wood that wasn’t too dark or too light. Living room that had a fire going, warm blankets on the couch. Kitchen that was open with an island with beautiful butcher-block counters that match the wood in the house. I’m in such awe and I haven’t even seen the upstairs yet. “You like it?” Kieran asks me with hopefulness in his voice. “It’s beautiful! You’d come here with your family? And they’d actually want you to come?!” I ask him with excitement. “Yeah…” He looks at me confused. I don’t think he fully comprehends my questions… we didn’t take a lot of family
