THE OFFICE

Raymond's POV

When I reached the office, my secretary Sam came running to my car and opened the door for me. Behind him, managers of all the departments came and stood in a line. My bodyguards also came and stood by my side ensuring my safety from all the sides. As I am the president of the Smith empire, it is very usual for me. 

"Mr Smith, the clients have arrived and are waiting for you in the meeting room. you can go directly to the room." Sam informed me while moving towards the meeting room. He handed me all the documents prepared for the meeting and gave a brief on it. "The clients have agreed to invest in our project overseas. They have agreed to all the terms and conditions except their share. they want to negotiate some more on the return share and want to see you directly." I rolled my eyes and with an angry look as this problem is being stretched for a long time. They are creating problems almost in all the clauses. As my father and the client are friends, I cannot do anything upsetting and they are taking advantage of that. 

My meeting room is on the 18th floor. The elevator stopped on the 18th floor. I came out of the elevator and walked towards the meeting room present just 10 floors below my office room. I entered with a smile, "Hello, gentlemen, pleasure meeting you again." They all stood up when I entered and we all greeted each other with shaking out hands. after that, our meeting started for almost an hour.

After finishing my session, I escorted my clients to the elevator and then moved to my office. I sat on my chair leaning in the back-support of the chair and closed my eyes for a while. As because of the meeting, I was very irritated and needed to cool down. After some time, I called Sam by phone. He came and knocked at my door asking for permission to go in. "Come in." I gave permission. "Sam, what is next?" I asked for my schedule of the day. "Sir, as today is Sunday, you don't have anything in your schedule. However, miss Williams wants to see you. She called before to ask if she will come to the office or you will go to her office."

Michel Williams is the heiress of Williams's entertainment as well as my fiance. Our engagement was a business deal. However, she tries hard to enter my private life and come close to me. I want our relationship to be professional as she shouldn't know my life. 

"Why she wants to meet me? Is it a business?" I inquired Sam. "I asked her the same question sir but she told me that it is personal," Sam replied confidently. "Okay, you can go home now, tell others to go home. I will handle miss Williams' matter." I released everyone as I have decided to go to Michel's office.

Susan's POV

After we had our breakfast, I went to my room and decided to go shopping. I went to my wardrobe to select which dress to wear. Meanwhile, my phone rang and it was Gary, my best friend and my colleague. I dropped my suit on the bed and reached out to the phone. "Red Alert, Red Alert, Red Alert" Gary started shouting as soon as I answered the call. "Damn, we are called again?" I asked in a tensed way. "Yes, we have to go right now." He replied. We have to go to the office even on Sundays if we are asked to come. This is not new to me and we are acquainted with this type of situation. "Okay, I am getting ready, come and pick me up," I asked Gary and he replied with a Hmm. We both hung up the phone and I got ready to go to the office. 

Gary came to my house and honked at my door. I rushed out of my room, kissed my dad and mom, and told them that I was urgently called, put on my heels and went out. Gary was on his bike waiting for me, I hopped on and he drove to the office through the traffic.
