Her soft voice sang to me, lulling me into a restful sleep as the familiar feeling of these dreams consumed me. I gratefully let them, glad from the break of terror and pain sleep usually gave me. Something was different this time. I wasn’t where I usually was at the beginning of my dreams, instead I was in a dark room, the smell of sage and incense burning my nostrils. The walls were covered in protective and magical symbols, and lined with rows of shelves containing bottles, big and small filled with a many manner of things.
