Chapter Thirty-Seven
Mia’s POV When I woke up from my nap Xander was no longer sitting next to me. I looked for him as I stood from the bed, but he was nowhere in sight. A quick check in the bathroom told me he must be out. “Are you and Xander still coming for dinner?” I jumped slightly as my mother mind linked me. A quick look at the clock showed it to be about 4 o’clock. “Yes. We will be. I’ll see you soon.” I linked back before jumping in the shower, before chucking on a tank top and long skirt and making my way to Seths office where he sat behind his desk doing paperwork.
