Junior First

Shayla POV

Did they already hate me? Both are staring at each other wildly, was I missing something. I put my head down and hear her again. "Mate", she  couldn't possibly think either of them would be my mate, I mean look at them, and who they are. They would never in million years mate with someone like me.

While I didn't think I was ugly I knew I did not compare to other girls out there. I stood 5'2 with light brown hair that stopped at my butt, I had tan-caramel skin, sometimes I looked permanently sunburned, my eye were a grey-blue with hints of purple from my wolf form. I weighted about 135lb, and didn't lack in boobs, or butt, but also wasn't as formed out as other girls my age.

From the corner of my eye I see a girl, possibly around my age standing in a corner off to the side of us. When she finally made eye contact with me, she burst in yelling.

"Junior are you done with this fake marriage bullshit? I am ready to go for a run and race to the waterfall with you. It shouldn't have taken this long!!"

"Anna what the f**k are you doing here? I already told you Josiah and I have to handle some stuff, I never said this was just over and done with. Now please go, NOW!"

All I could think was I really hoped he wasn't the one I was supposed to be marrying right now. How could he stand in front of me and have a girlfriend already. By now my wolf would not stop and I was getting angrier the longer she stood there.

"Junior you cannot be seriously putting this w***e before me?"

Finally after trying to control myself, I knew this was going to happen if I liked it or not. I lift my head staring her in the eyes.

"Oh does the w***e have something to say all of a sudden?"

"You know nothing about this 'w***e' to be saying anything about her. I suggest you go pick a fight with the King and Queen if you have something to say about this arranged marriage, but that's right your to low on the poll to have a say in anything that goes on with the Alpha's now aren't you? I am new to this home and I will respect my new family but lets make one thing very clear Anna was it. You will not disrespect me or think so high of yourself around me. You may be the little girlfriend for now but I can since that will not last as long as probably either of you think"

I was so mad I wanted to rip her to shed's, but I was taught better then to go straight to fighting. I would not let her make a fool of me not even being in my new home 5 minutes. I look at the twins and since I am not the only one hearing "Mate" but I will not bring that up at this time. I take a step back realizing I was in her face and turn to speak to the twins only to late before Anna speaks again.

"Junior are you really going to let her speak to me that way? I should have known I would never be put first to you, I am your mate not her. How dare you."

By this point Junior has his hand rubbing his head, I knew she would always be like this. I could only handle so much of her attitude before I really did harm her. I look around questioning if this was really happening, but Josiah was in front of me.

"Princess Shayla I am Prince Josiah. This is my twin brother Junior, and as well you know that was Anna who just left, she has a flare for the dramatic. I am sorry meeting us for the first time went this way."

I respect Josiah for trying and at least talking to me. Junior still stood there, not sure of what to do next. I wasn't even sure how to handle this. I did not plan on this going so rough. I felt hurt and so did my wolf, if we were mate's how could Junior just stand there. I could tell both felt it. It wasn't something you could easily miss.

"You are arranged to marry one of us, however we would like to get to know you, as you know were twins and the King doesn't care witch of us marry you as long as one of us do. We would both like  a few hours alone with you then by night fall one of us will be married to you. Mother and Kyliee have already set up a ball for tonight for you to be introduce to our family and packs. I know this is a lot to process and handle but we do not believe in just marrying because the King say so. We would like each of us to actually want this and be comfortable with one another"

I looked at both of them before carefully replying.

" Thank you for being honest with me, I would be fine with getting to know each of you. Just as the both of you I did not have a say in this arranged marriage. It will be an honor alone to be apart of this family and whose ever pack I am married into. I did not expect a ball so soon but I am as ready as I can be." I lift up my head slightly, raising my eyebrow before eyeing both of them. "So witch of you would like to get to know me first?"

Junior finally looked up at me, and gave me his hand, nodding his head but skill not saying a word. I nod at Josiah and start walking arm in arm with Junior. It was a long walk out to the garden before he finally said anything.

"I am sorry Princess Shayla-

"Please just Shay" I say, as we sit in the flower garden, I was so excite they had one as well even if it wasn't in full bloom.

"Okay I am sorry Shay, Anna had no right to act the way she did. I wont lie to you she is my girlfriend. But I also know between the three of us we are all hearing our wolf side. I didn't believe it possible for both Josiah and I to mate to only one persons.I believe you knew what you were saying when you don't believe it will last long, I already am having doubts. Any ways not worrying about being or not being mates right now. Lets just get to know each other?"

"I appreciate you and your brothers honesty. I am sorry if you thought I was mean to your ugh, girlfriend. I am not a push over though, and I don't respect her coming at me like that. However you are correct when I am hearing my wolfs call as well. I did not know possible either. I do not wish to put you and your bother on bad terms. But a little about myself. My full name is Shayla Michelle, I turned 23 today as well. I have 5 brothers and I am the youngest. My father is King Matthew and my Mother is Queen Rachel Michelle as you know. I'm not really good at this I'm sorry.."

How would this ever work, I am not a outgoing person, I stay to myself and no one likes me. I have no friends much less a boyfriend. Neither of these Alphas would want me. Who was I kidding thinking just because I looked pretty right now.

"Hey hey now Shayla, don't stop there. I promise you can trust me, you are apart of this family now married or mate or not. I will protect you. I'll tell you a little about myself, how about that?"

I smile shy but doesn't take the feeling of stupidity away.

"My brother and I were born on June 17, we turned 27. My full name is actually Jason Jonathan but because my father  is also Jason, I stick with Junior and prefer it. I am about 13 minutes older then Josiah. We have two little sisters as am sure you know now. I am Alpha to the Royal Purple Pack, it is second biggest under the Royal Moons, then Josiah's Moon Royal. I enjoy reading, running, hikes in both forms, and of course fighting" He let out a laugh, he wasn't open but he was trying and I could see it.
