Autumn’s P.O.V.
After we finished eating dessert, all of us started to clean up the table. My mom demanded my dad and my brother to wash the dishes since they didn’t help in cooking.
Despite their bellyaching, they weren’t able to do anything but obey my mom because my dad is completely whipped with her and my brother is scared of disobeying my mom.
We left the men in the kitchen to do their duties while all the womenfolk went to the sitting room to chat. My mom was leading the conversation so it was all about our work and stability. I rarely joined in the conversation because I didn’t want to be the focus of the conversation and knowing my mother, she’ll start talking about how she disapproves of my life choices. I just sat close beside Freya on the sofa while I quietly sip my wine.
