✰Caitlin✰ My living room looked like such a disaster had struck. The chaos on my coffee table was evidence enough of the mess we were in. Files were scattered across every available inch, case reports stacked so high they threatened to topple over. Crime scene photos spread out like puzzle pieces that refused to fit together. And I was sitting in the middle of it all, exhausted, frustrated, and completely out of leads. Another two people had been reported missing. Whoever was behind this had started again. Which meant we were running out of time. I rubbed my temples as I tried to fight the headache that seemed to never leave. “Ugh,” I muttered in frustration as I looked around.
