I had always known Bedford City was surrounded by forests, but I had never really paid any attention to just how vast they were. Not only that, but I never would have imagined that there was a pack of wolves living in the thick of it. And now, as Trenton’s car turned onto a dirt road which led deep into the woods, doubt curled in my gut like a coiled snake. I had taken risks before. I had gone undercover.
