Chapter 2. Two can play a game

Olivia dropped her fork when she felt a warm palm ascending her thighs.

The clanking sound of the fork attracted the attraction of Adam and Evangeline who are now staring at Olivia in confusion.

Oblivious to their questioning gazes, Olivia bit her lip hard as she felt his warm hand tracing along her cold skin, lighting up sparks with his every touch.The feeling of Xavier’s hands on her smooth thighs was something which she found hard to describe. Not confident of her voice, Olivia managed to give her mother a stiff nod of agreement.

“ Well then, we will be leaving.”

Dropping their words behind, Adam and Evangeline walked out of the room shutting the door behind leaving both of them alone.

" The game hasn't even begun yet. I would not be so full of myself if I were you." Prying his hands off her torso, she distanced herself from the man who was ready to pounce upon her at any moment.

" Do enlighten me." Though he was left hot and bothered, Xavier was interested in this woman's guts.

Instead of answering his question, she turned around and swaying her hips in a seductive manner she started to walk towards the door. Olivia could feel a heated gaze burning holes in her back.

With a charming smile on her lips, she turned around and winked at the man who was currently devouring her with his eyes.

' This man is difficult to crack.' Olivia pouted inwardly as she decided to level up her seduction next time. For now, she will leave after speaking her words.

" Mr. Duston, you are attracted to my allure. A single sway of my hips is able to make you stare at me haltingly. With my looks and skills, I can wrap any man around my fingers. You are no different from them. Men like you love to conquer women like me but I warn you that I am not a spitfire but wildfire."

Pausing for a moment, she continued "If I was a man and if there was a day when I was faced with a woman like me, I would never underestimate her. If you are still dead set on me like a moth drawn to the flames, then get ready to be burned."

Leaving a dazed man behind, Olivia sauntered out of the room.

What Olivia did not know was that Xavier's ears turned red the moment she winked at him flirtatiously. What she did not observe is the determined look in his eyes when she warned him that she was a wildfire. What she did not notice was the predatory look in his eyes as he gazed at her back when she left the room.

" Interesting, very interesting." Xavier chuckled as he remembered Olivia's fiery grey eyes and the words she spoke before her departure.

Then he lowered his head to look at his still bulged member and groaned at the sight of visible stain on his pants. He needed a change of clothes. After dialing his chauffeur and ordering him to bring a new set of clothes, Xavier fell into a deep thinking.

His heart was set into a chaos and he was not in a hurry to understand his feelings, but he was sure on one thing.
