Our last semester of college. I can’t believe it’s finally here. I had spent most of spring break hooking up with Bey.
Her family has a house in the mountains and we’d headed there for break. Now, we’re back to school. Back to our real lives. Only now, I feel lonelier than ever.
The annual back to school party is in full swing. Bey is nowhere to be found. Even before we’d returned back to school, I had felt her pulling away from our fling.
I guess this means I’m single. Maybe I’ve always been single, looking for validation in all the wrong places.
