April "I don't understand Alpha Derek, why is she even like this? Your daughter should be in great condition to take the title of Alpha next week." The neighboring pack doctor, Deacon said to my father. "Deacon I have no clue, she isn't really eating. She hasn't spoken to us much at all. It's like, off and on or something." Alpha said giving me an evil glare to keep along. "April? Can you talk to me? If not I understand.." Deacon asked staring me in the eyes. It took me a minute to realize I needed to agree with my father, and nod but I couldn't bring myself to it. Why should I lie to a pack doctor? Although I can't even speak without being afraid of being punched, I just wish Ava would speak to me. I need help with this and she hasn't spoken up for five days now, and I'm becoming more and more worried. Something is telling me the neighboring pack is catching on, it'll only be a few days before Alpha Jake comes into this. "April?" My father asked getting me out of my thoughts. I nodded my head in agreement, and stared at my father in fear. "Okay April, for this next part I'm going to need you to talk to me. Derek? I suspect you already know what's wrong with her considering she is your daughter, and you did call me. So please go do your Alpha duty and leave me to it I am a professional at this." Deacon said grabbing a few things to write on and sit in front of me. My father only growled in response and stormed out the room, once Deacon locked the door he looked me dead in the eyes and smiled. I'm not for sure if I trust this guy, he looks like a creep. "Okay April, you're free to speak. Say whatever is on your mind and whatever is going on we will stop. Is that okay or is it to much?" Deacon said with a bright smile. I shook my head and looked down, fear suddenly starting exploding into my senses and I suddenly didn't want to do this at all. "Okay, start slow, take your time this isn't a race, once again you can say whatever it is you need to, whatever is said stays here." Deacon said ready to write. I gulped still terrified to speak. "Deacon, my pack abuses me." I whispered out as well as possible. I watched as he wrote exactly what I said down on the piece of paper in front of him, oh god he's gonna kill me. He looked up at me waiting for me to continue, f**k. "It started when my mother died, the rogues got her. My fa- the Alpha just let it happen, the whole pack knows he let her die. No one seemed to care, Deacon he's crazy! He lowered my food privileges, now all I do is clean. I'm the pack doctor here since no one else wants to get one. It's not fair! I'm only 18, I shouldn't be treated like I'm a dog. The only speaking to I get is a punch in the nose, and a slap across the butt if my rape session is good." I said as tears spilled out of me. "Okay April," I watched his hand move as tears just rolled down my face, "I'm gonna talk to my Alpha and see what we can do about this okay sweetie? Would you like to enroll in a different pack by tomorrow, or no?" Deacon asked matching eye contact with me. I had a tiny lifeless smile plastered on my face, I nodded as he sat his stuff down on the desk behind him and moved super close to me. I froze in fear he was going to hurt me, oh god please no! "April, I promise I'm going to get you out of here, hell I'll die trying if I have to. You're going to get help, I have one question. Do you have a mate yet?" Deacon asked with a hopeful expression. "Kind of, my mate is the Alphas Beta in command. But he rejected me when he first laid his eyes on me." I said sadly. Deacon nodded in understanding, he promised to be back within seven day tops. After saying our goodbyes, I went back to the cold attic and tries my best to get some sleep in before tomorrow.
