"So who's the guy watching my every move?" I asked Taylor.

"Falcon? He's one of our rank warriors. He hasn't seen you around the house, he's over protective about everyone in the pack." Taylor said chuckling.

What's a rank warrior? Do I even want to shove my nose into something with a name like that?

"Alpha. Blood trail near the north border. Please do a headcount un the tunnel."

"What the hell is a tunnel?" I asked when Taylor grabbed my hand dragging me to hell.

"It's where we keep all the mom's and kids. The mom's either lost their mate and are helping with the kids, or never met their mate but was r***d and gave birth to their kid." Taylor said without looking at me.

"And I'm going with you why?"

"If one of them are missing I'm not leaving you alone, especially since most the females are down there. Whoever took one of my pack members might come after you, I can't chance losing you." Taylor said with a softer tone.

I watched silently as Taylor called out names in the tunnel just as a huge crowd started screaming as if one of them got stabbed in the eye with a small pencil.

"What happen? Who's hurt?" Taylor roared out with anger.

"No one Alpha, the girl is lost."

I watched as a little girl sat on the dirt crying, she looked maybe five or six. My heart was aching for this pack.

"I can't just sit here." I cried out before running to the girl.

"Don't touch me!"

"Hey, it's okay little one. I'm April, I won't hurt you, I promise. Just come with me okay?" I whispered softly holding my hand out for her.

"H-hi. I'm Zola."

I smiled softly as she took my hand and I swiftly picked her up so she didn't have to worry about anyone grabbing her. I walked back to where I was sitting to be greeted with a happy Taylor.

"Hi Zola, is April taking good care of you?" Taylor said poking her nose.

"Mhm! She pretty." Zola giggled laying her head on my shoulder smiling.

Smiling at Taylor he mouthed a good job and continued to speak to his small crowd. I can't believe how good I was with Zola, it's almost like I'm meant to be with her.
