Maddison “Ouch!” I shouted, touching my head. I looked at the book on the floor, then to the doorway where Emma was standing with crossed arms. I narrowed my eyes on her, trying to control my temper. “How dare you hit me!” I said. “How dare you break my photo frame?” she replied. Furious, I pulled her hair before slamming the door shut and dragging her inside the room. She screamed as I pushed her onto the floor. Her eyes set ablaze with anger as she stood up and then pushed me against the wall. She was incredibly strong, and I knew her strength wasn’t ordinary. There was something different in her, and I felt it. “Get . . . out . . . of . . . here . . .” she said. “Make me, sister,” I responded with a smirk. She looked into my eyes, pressing her arm against my throat and grunted.
