I looked around, making sure that nobody was following me into the woods. The path I was walking had thorny bushes and spikes that I had to break them for me to pass through. Finally, in front of the tunnel covered with tall shrubs, I raised my hand forward.
"Aperta," I uttered.
Instantly, the bushes made their way aside as the tunnel opened. I looked around before entering and closed it with a spell. The dark tunnel was immediately lit by numerous little flames of fire as I made my steps towards Emma's body floating in the air.
Moving my eyes around each corner, I stared at the flames surrounding Emma and looked at her face. Her burnt skin made my head replay the day I killed her. Tears fell from my eyes as I knelt down and sobbed.
