Chapter 14

The next morning I woke up and i felt like myself again ,I didn't need to escape from my parents and keep secrets,i didn't need to apply that heavy makeup anymore, I didn't have to wear those horrible clothes all day and best of all I didn't have to hang out with Melony, Finn and their friends for the whole day, I actually felt like myself again.

I got up and showered ,but once I got out I realized that I had absolutely nothing to wear,or so I thought.

I dug around in my cupboard ,searching every shelf and corner until I finally found an old pair of jeans ,a t shirt and my old ,but still wearable sneakers.I quickly got dressed and went downstairs.

After i had eaten breakfast i watched a bit of TV while my mom was getting ready,when i suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head and my vision started to go blurry.

I had the same feeling when i was about 10 ,I needed to get glasses ,but I got continuously bullied about it so I begged my mom for contacts.After a while she gave in and I've been wearing them ever since. But that was 6 years ago, my prescription must have changed.

My mom came down and I told her that I thought my prescription had changed, she ran to get the forms that had all of my information from the optometrist on it.She told me that I am way overdue for another check up.

My mom phoned the optometrist and made an appointment for later today. I ran upstairs before we left, to take these contacts out. My vision cleared up a little bit and I headed back downstairs so that we could leave ,because my mom promised to take me shopping for some new clothes since I literally only have the outfit that I am wearing at the moment.
