Emily's POV The teacup sat on my desk, I hadn't slept through out the night, I was just staring at the tea lost in deep thoughts. The jasmine scent had faded, replaced by the memory of wolfsbane and the sterile chill of that clinic room. Kest’s contract arrived at dawn, as promised. It was bound in sleek, grey leather.
