Her gaze is blank as she thinks something thoroughly. I now see that the wheels in her brain are working so hard to come up with a reason for her to not go home with me.
I let out a low chuckle, at the thought of her planning to slip away from me, her gaze turns to me. She can try all she wants but she will come to me anyway. I know she is as affected by the intensity around us as me, I know she is mad at me because of my damn plan to ally, but that was important.
