Chapter 3

Damien heard the conversation between Christine and her father. He became slightly envious from within. His father had never treated him this way. However, he shrugged this feelings aside. Children who are treated extra lovingly by parents grow up totally spoilt, Damien thought to himself.

“Hmm...I see you were talking to your daughter weren't you?," asked Mark. “Yes sir, she's my only child and I have brought her up very lovingly," fatherly feeling took over Mr Brown. “Oh I see!," exclaimed Mark. “I want to see your daughter," continued Mark. “Why sir? my daughter doesn't know anything about business yet, what use could she be to you?," Mr Brown was really confused. Even Damien was wondering, why his father was behaving that way.

“Call your daughter here," ordered Mark. “Okay sir, I'll let her know," replied Mr Brown. He called Christine and asked her to come to the office instead. Approximately, half an hour later Christine arrived into the office.

Mark's P.O.V

Brown's daughter looks like a decent and innocent girl. My son is getting older and I need to get him married as early as possible. Christine looks like a woman who will follow what ever her husband will tell her. She will stay under Damien's feet and never dare to disappoint him.

Damien's P.O.V

I don't know what dad is thinking. This girl looks like some fragile character from the barbie series. I wonder how many bones in her body would be broken if I just tap her shoulder. She's is definitely some i***t teenager .

Mr Brown's P.O.V

I don't know why Mark has ordered me to call Christine here. The way he's looking at my daughter makes me feel like something's cooking in his head.

Christine's POV

I don't know why dad called me here today. It's so weird he has never called me here after school. Anyways, that's Damien Wilson, a man who's name is on everyone's mouth, and he's sitting right infront of me, giving dirty looks though.

“Hello Christine, " Mark greeted her. “Hello sir," Christine hastily replied. “You may go home now,” Mark informed her. What? Is this man insane, thought Mr Brown.

“Umm..., ” Christine looked at her dad, who nodded in return. “Okay then sir, I'll get going now, it was nice meeting you, " Christine walked out.

“You have a daughter fit for marriage and I have a son fit for marriage too," said Mark. Damien's eyes nearly popped out of his head after hearing his father's words. "Oh it's a yes to your statement, ” agreed Mr Brown, “but the thing is that Christine is still in uni and I wouldn't want anything to affect her studies". Damien breathed a sigh of relief after hearing Mr Brown's word. However, Mark simply replied by saying “she could still continue her studies after marriage, no one will stop her, right son?, " Mark looked at Damien, who just nodded his head not knowing what else to do.
