10: Braden

1721 Words

"Where the f**k is she?" I screamed at Lucas. "I don't know! We've been at it trying to track her, but that b***h of an aunt cast a protection spell on her and unless we kill her, we can't track her. Something you refuse to do!" He yelled back. "Watch your damn tone with me, Luke. I know we are friends, but I am your alpha first." I spit at him. I was angry. Angry that I didn't know where Avery was, and that we couldn't use our usual methods to track her. We had been at it for days and without any luck. I just kept asking myself why she couldn't be found. She should be locked in my dungeon by now. My heart blackened at the thought of not ever seeing her again or having access to my heir. My son. My hands balled into fists as my anger boiled inside me like a volcano waiting to erupt.
