Layon Dash again and again to the Boss but every time he did, he will fly away from him, when Yuki saw this, he realizes that Layon will lose soon that's why he made his decision.
"Everyone get up! We will run to the town while the boss is still occupied by Layon"
"B-but what about Brother Layon?"
"We don't have a choice if we don't go now while Layon can still fight we will die too"
When the children heard that they're going to die they shiver and become more scared some of them even piss at their pants, Yuki becomes impatient and yells again.
"Hurry we don't have time if you don't move, I'm going to leave you here"
Yuki carries Shiro and starts running toward the direction of the town but Shiro struggle and begs his brother.
"Brother!! Wait what about sister Rose?"
"I can only carry one person and if I'm going to choose, I will choose you"
"Then put me down I can run by myself just carry sister Rose please brother!!"
Yuki starts to hesitate about what should he do then suddenly Lake yells at them.
"D-don't leave us I-I will carry Rose don't worry"
Yuki stares at Lake then yells at them.
"Then move faster!"
All the children start to stand up and follow Yuki as fast as they can because of the fear that they going to be left behind.

While the boss is fighting with Layon he noticed something moving in the corner of his vision then he finally saw the children escaping he becomes impatient.
"Those bastards trying to escape in front of me?"
The boss runs towards the escaping children but suddenly he feels a chill on his back so he turns around and blocks, It's Layon who's attacking the Boss like a beast he's not stopping even if he got hit, the Boss and Layon exchange hit like a mad man.
'What with this bastard I feel like I'm hitting a metal why is he so sturdy'
The Boss started to get more impatient as time goes by then suddenly he remembered that he has a sword so he looks at he's surrounding to find the sword that flew away when Layon punches him on his stomach when he saw it he punch Layon to make some distance and dash towards the sword, Layon immediately follows but the Boss is faster than him so he grabs the sword prepare to attack when Layon is finally within reach he stabs him with the sword.
"DIE!"
Because Layon's berserk he is not in his right mind that's why he still dashes towards the boss without stopping therefore he got a stab at his stomachs and growl to the Boss.
"GRRRRRRR"
The Boss withdraws the sword to Layon's stomach and laugh.
"I FINALLY KILL YOU BASTARD HAHAHA!!"
When the boss thought that he finally kills Layon and lets his guard down Layon suddenly jumps and stabs his hand to the Boss left eye.
"ARGGHHH YOU F*CKING BASTARD!!!!!"
The Boss screams in pain and stare a Layon with killing intent he finally realizes how dangerous this kid is he put his sword up and s***h Layon, Layon is just standing and staring at the boss with hatred then he's body finally give in to the wounds and exhaustion, before the boss slices him in a half Layon's body starting to fall so the boss s***h didn't cut him in two instead leave a large wound on Layon's Body but that's not the only reason why the boss attack did not connect properly, losing one of his eyes make him miscalculate the distance of he's attacked.
"This time let's see if you still survive that"
The Boss stares with he's remaining right eye at Layon's bleeding body with hatred and give him a strong kick then Layon finally lose he's consciousness and he's hair and eyes starting to become golden yellow again, the Boss still want to torture Layon but he doesn't have time for that he immediately run towards the direction of the escaping children.
'I need to hurry and catch those bastards before they can get inside of the town or the higher-ups will kill me'
The boss runs as fast as he can while his left eye is bleeding.

After the boss left Layon to bleed to death he didn't notice that there's a mysterious person watching them from the top of the big tree from the very beginning, he jumps down from the big tree and approaches Layon who is laying in the ground unconscious.
"I thought this clan is wiped out but I guess there's still some that still alive"
He checked Layon's body and notice something.
"Hmm!! Mixed blood that's why you don't have the usual trait of having red hair and red eyes HAHAHA!! Interesting maybe this is your luck meeting this old man"
The mysterious person carries Layon's Body and suddenly disappear.

A few days later Layon finally woke up he slowly open his eyes and start to stand up but he immediately falls down because of the pain he feels.
"Aggghh! W-what happened where am I?"
He looks at he's surrounding but there's only a small light coming from the candles on the top of a small stone
Then Layon suddenly hears a voice.
"Ohh you finally wake up I thought your dead already"
"W-who are you?"
"Hmm Just an old man"
Then suddenly an old man walks out in the dark so Layon can finally saw the face of the old man, the face of the old man is full of wrinkles and have some tattoo on his forehead, the old man approach Layon and hand him something.
"W-what is this?"
"It's a food are you blind?"
"W-where am I?"
"Stop asking and eat!"
Layon finally stops asking a question and because he is starving he didn't resist and start digging into his food like this is the first time he's eating for years, after a while he finally stops and looks satisfied then suddenly he remember something really important he starts to look at he's surrounding again and he looks like he lost something really important like he's life is dependent on it.
"S-sir where are my friends?"
"Ahh, those children they leave you and escape?"
"They successfully escape I see"
Layon smile.
The old man walks away sits in a corner and opens a book to read, Layon stares at the stone ceiling and tries to remember what happened, after a few seconds he finally remembers what happened and he panics and becomes worried.
"OH NO!! I need to find Rose and the others"
Layon tries to stand up again but he failed, again and again, when he finally realizes that he can't stand up on his own he begged the old man to help him but the old man ignores him and keep reading his book, he kept begging the old man to help him but the old man kept ignoring him, and Layon realize that the old man will not help him even if he begged all day so he starts crawling even if he's body hurt so much he still crawl because he is so worried to what happened to Rose and the others he ignores the pain he is feeling he crawl and crawl that he's wound started to bleed again.
'hmm this kid has some will power I guess I will give him some advice'
The old man spoke.
"Hey, kid what do you think your, doing do you want to waste my effort of saving you?"
Layon looks at the old man and answers.
"I need to find my friends"
"How will you going to find them you can't even stand up?"
Layon stop crawling and contemplate.
"But I promise them that I will protect them"
The old man closes his book and looks at Layon.
"remember this kid words can cut deeper than swords, because sword can wound you physically but words can wound your mentality, A promise without something to back it up is nothing but an empty word, how can you protect them with your current condition, I pity your friends because you promise them you will protect them and now what, you're here in this cave full of wounds and you don't even know where they are what do you think their feeling right now?"
Layon become shocked and start to think about what is his friend is feeling right now then he started to teared up.
'So, I need to become stronger to fulfill my promise to my friends but how?'
Layon looks to the old man.
"Can you teach me how to become strong?
The old man looks to Layon with interest in his eyes and contemplates what should he do
'Should I teach this kid? Hmm, I don't really have things to do maybe I teach him just to pass time'
Layon begs the old man.
"Please sir teach me how to become strong!"
"If you want to learn from me then you need to follow everything I said if you disobey me then you know what will happen"
Layon's eyes start to have some life in them and answer the old man with enthusiasm.
"YES!!! THANK YOU"
"Then go back on your bed and rest"
Layon crawls back to his bed and think.
'I hope they are safe to wait for me to become stronger Rose I will find you and the others'
