Alice POV
Upon returning home, I asked my parents to meet me in my office. They looked worried until the spotted the invitation on my desk. I didn't get a single word out before my mom started to happily talk about the ball. How it was such a beautiful and fun experience that she and my dad had when they attended.
"Sorry princess, what is it you wanted to talk to us about?" My mom asks after talking for half an hour. "Much to my dismay, I will be attending the ball. I'm taking Chris as my date and Violet will also be attending with Alpha Megg. I called you both in here to ask if you could fill in for me here until I return?"
My dad laughs out loud. " What if we say no?" I raise an eyebrow at that. "Simple. I won't go to the ball." My mom gasps at that and hits my dad on the arm. "O
